I get what you're saying but a lot of the conservative opposition to the left's ideology was basic common sense, and it didn't need to be implemented and observed for everyone to know it was hot garbage to begin with. For example, decriminalizing drugs while decimating law and order, allowing anyone to enter the country unvetted from countries with known criminal operators and not checking for COVID/other diseases, in addition to making deviant, self serving, and hedonistic behavior the norm while not protecting children would 100% result in a disaster of epic proportions. How many lives were damaged and lost in order to figure out that their "experiments" weren't going to work?

I can see where this can be abused, but how hard is it to secure a weapon so that children don't have access to it? Even if it's the kid's gun, the rule should be that they can only handle it in the presence of a trusted adult and any lock picking/stealing results in strong consequences. And if your child has emotional/mental problems? No guns for them until those are resolved, if they can be.

I realize in the past this wasn't an issue, but there are more factors at play in today's times that require stricter rules by the gun owner/parent, not the government.

But he's in Kentucky so the governor will appoint a replacement, correct? Kentucky has a Dem governor who said stupid, vile stuff about Vance and him feeling consequences of one of his loved ones being raped or something like that. I wouldn't trust him to make a good appointment.

Arrest warrants have now been issued for Chris Pavlovski, CEO of Rumble, and Andrew Torba, CEO of GAB, on charges of Conspiracy to Defraud the US and just two weeks after Pavel Durov was arrested in France.


Is this true? I have not seen this anywhere else.

***Edit: I am thinking this is fake like a number of recent posts on X. We (I) need to continue to be skeptical of some of these things.***

Different laws for blacks? What a wonderful idea! In fact I hope she becomes President now and makes all her best policies exclusively for black people. Like only black people will have the absolute strictest gun control possible. No gun control for privileged whitey! Price controls on all black-owned businesses. Honkies have to suffer all that price gouging their businesses do. And of course all black people's social media accounts and internet access in general will be heavily moderated so that they won't see all that hate speech and misinformation, or spread any themselves. White folks will have to put up with all the toxicity. None of Mamala's loving censorship for them!

No. Robert's is no longer the deciding vote on whether cases get taken up or decided. Word's cannot express who truly fucked the Uniparty system is with an even lightly conservative SCOTUS. Roberts is not one, I would note. The man's judicial philosophy is more or less an overt statement of "I am a whore for what the Uniparty wants". It is the entire reason he was chosen for Chief justice. The uniparty saw an absolutely golden opportunity with 4 conservative and 4 liberal justices to install their Yes Man onto the Chief Justice position to ensure that only decisions they wanted were decided.

Now though, its 5-3-1 for Conservative-Liberal-Roberts. The man is no longer really relevant and is mostly just signing onto majority Conservative decisions to maintain his own fake credibility.

Bit of a necropost, but I want to answer this.

Basically, around 2008 I saw the liberal zietgeist get taken over by this "racism is power plus privilege" crowd and I jumped ship. I'm still pretty liberal about a lot of things, but I got sick and fucking tired of being called a bigot all the time even when arguing in good faith. For some reason, after Obama became president, the Democrats decided to be the party of shrieking retards.

Probably the only position I've really changed my mind about over the past 20 years is abortion. I don't think I changed very much, but the liberals in this country sure as shit have. Supporting Trump in 2016 was tons of fun and, ultimately, a satisfying combination of schadenfreude and backpfeifengesicht.
