With shipping and typical FFL fees that's around $100 a gun which if you get lucky could be a very good deal. I spy some Rossi .38s in there, if they're in reasonable condition that's a steal. Rossi .38s in my experience are reliable, dependable and (for what they are) accurate .38s, in fact I carried one for about a year. Only downsides are they may be a bit heavy for carry for some and they aren't rated for +P but imo those are minor concerns. Saw some Jenning J-22s (or Bryco, or Jimenez, they're the same gun) in there too, with high velocity ammo those things will be mostly reliable and last for thousands of rounds, another good deal at $100.

And besides, who doesn't want to gamble? :ross:

Won't dox myself as to why, but Paul is a personal loss, and it's good to see that his "I'm dead" has given people closure and an opportunity to grieve properly. He cared about the people who learned from him. And he had a sense of dark humor that's come through really well.

raise a glass and pour some out.
I shed tears now knowing that Paul may have been a kiwi

Listen every 5.7 ive seen looks cool and thats all that matters
5.7's are the quintessential cool guy gun and nobody can tell me otherwise. Still for the money you pay for ammo, I want a 40 cal or higher.
Neither. I just got a soft spot for lever gats. Grew up shooting them with my grandpa. Plus 30-30 is great for where I hunt, cause it's decently thick brush in the mountains.
Shot my cousins 30-30 years ago, loved that gun, felt awesome. It's fitting I got a SKS which is in 7.62x39mm, which is essentially Spitzer 30-30.

Both Garand Thumb and Brandon Herrera have compared “garbage rod” ARs with overpriced ARs in somewhat recent videos. They both seem to have reached the conclusion that the overpriced ARs are very good, and the cheap ARs are pretty much just fine.

Discuss.

P.S. I still do not have an AR. I am considering buying a Radical Firearms AR because Radical is local to me. Complain about this
This is probably correct as long as it doesn't have a fucking composite upper like someone close to me has purchased... Not sure of it's related, but I can twist the handguard (and fsp) back and forth with my hand. Fairly certain that this person paid around 400 for it. Maybe I should buy a PSA-R and trade him, then throw that absolute abominacion in the fucking trash where it belongs. I'm curious how much I need to shoot it to make it literally melt.

I took learned to hate that stock. One came on a POF Renegade Plus that I bought in 2018. Lived with it a for a little bit but then swapped it out for something much better. Why does anyone like that thing?
I just run M4 waffle stocks.

Probably not much if you are just mag dumping it.

Reminder that Fatrick's gun is a PS90 and Lowtax killed himself with a 5.7

I'm surprised he was willing to pay the money for one considering the worse-than-airsoft tier accessories he put on his Glock.

I'll shamefully admit what when I was younger and knew much less about firearms I almost bought a Five Seven. Instead the dumbest gun I ever bought was a P229 in .357 Sig because I figured anything the US Air Marshals use must be a great gun.

never shot 357 sig but have found it interesting round. how has your experience been shooting it?

Does anyone here still use a musket for home defense
Who doesn't, I just prefer mine with a few more modern conveniences, like rifling and percussion caps. What wonderful technology, I wonder what will come next.

Did you get one of the kit guns or just buy the finished rifle somewhere? Been thinking of getting one to extend deer season and have a sick wall hanger. I wanted to put one together myself, but I don't know which kit to get.

My Origin 12 came with one of those stocks as well and I hated it. Ended up swapping it out for a Double Star ACE Hammer stock. It's a damn heavy stock since it's all aluminum, but it's rugged as hell. I like the idea that I could bash in a door with it if I so desired, and the added weight helps tame the recoil of high brass shells even more than the Origin already does. And it's a cool looking stock, not gonna lie.

I had a PS90 many, many moons ago when I still had my first gun collection. It was the old school style PS90 that had the built in optic. Fun as hell to shoot. Took it out bunny blasting with my cousin once. Didn't see any bunnies that day, but we did see little lizards that were less than four inches long, and I was able to pop them from about 35 yards or so. But I don't really miss it. I'd much rather have something like a B&T TP9 these days.

Does anyone know what VFG's they were using in the late 90's/early 2000's for M16's with the quad rail? I'm trying to keep my AR setup period accurate.

They were most certainly using a KAC RAS, which will come with a variety of rail panels, and the KAC broomhandle grip.
(This is the link to the grip from Knights, if you actually drop $80 on one of these I'mma slap you through your monitor for not finding a surplus one (probably stolen, lul) on ebay for $20.)

I have a Night's RAS on a MK18 clone build. It was expensive, and its heavy as fuck, and that's before I bought the "upgraded" lower rail that actually locks to the barrel nut and isn't just held in by the delta ring like the issued M4 RAS lower.

At least it looks cool.
