It's kinda hard to say because most of them haven't thought about it. At best it's something vague like I don't hate my body anymore and be happy but really they are just going with a trend. They just want the short term positive results and jump to whatever gives them the next hit, it's pretty aimless. Same as any other fasionable youth counter culture followed by teens and adults who want to act like teens.
That to be said, there is a segment of yaoi sick ones and they do have an endgame. They dream about the perfect gay romance as told by silly romance stories written by other women. To them it's about settling down with a clean hot sensitive man in a perfectly equal relationship that has just right amount of drama that just makes us stronger. It's like totally better than those scary and boring straight relaships.

She's not even properly grilling them - she has them on a baking tray.
If you're going to grill vegetables, then put them on a stick and slather at least oil over them to give them a good char. If you're just going to put them on a baking tray you might as well just stick them in the oven as it's less hassle.

Yeah the Pooner grilling a tray of veggies, complete with (not even oven, looks to be gardening) gloves, and no shirt because being spattered with hot fat spitting out is always fun, has always baffled me, especially that she's "finally learning" so her "friends" have got her doing this, which I can only guess is their way of trolling the naive Pooner. The only time I've ever BBQ'd vegtables is if I'm making kebabs and then its just peppers and onions on sticks alternated with meat.
A whole tray of mixed veggies is fucking bizarre and the most inefficient way to cook I can think of.
