Sorry for the double post, but it's important. I am proud of everyone on the team, and all the people who are taking the opportunity to rewrite threads. It seriously is a cool thing. By the end of this month, 8 rewrites have been completed and sent in for review for Null to read.

However, I think it's time for a break. We've might've gotten a bit ahead of ourselves now Null is on backorder with all these threads to review. We're going to temporarily stop rewriting threads until Null can catch up and we will resume the program after the fact.

Thanks for the memes, the support, and the help. :)

Recent update: Added the Apostlegate and Quasi + Cloudflare subpoena category, moving the Norm MacDonald to the earlier portion of the OP. The subpoena should be written in tomorrow. Some proposed categories might or might not be removed in order to keep the thread having up-to-date important events and side characters. Help is much appreciated because the Fat Faggot with Bitch Tits rabbit hole is fucking huge as shit :stress:

The project is currently on hiatus so @Null has a chance to actually review all the currently completed OP Rewrites and implement them before we make anymore. Any rewrites that are currently WIP will be worked on and finished, but no new ones will begin until the backlog we have is cleared.

Seconding this (for when the project resumes) because the current OP is in absolute shambles. All the images are broken, the OP has been awol for 7 years and both original posts haven't been touched since mid-2020, while Glip herself is still producing new content somehow through a new schizo arc and the slightly-older Discord shenanigans that never fucking end. Good luck to whatever lunatic has the mental fortitude and time to tackle her thread (I am sadly lacking in both desirable qualities), said person will need it, but PK's insane history absolutely deserves the love.

Obligatory :semperfidelis: to the crazy bastards dedicating their time to this huge project. The time you spend to give us retarded masses free entertainment and information will be forever valued.

Update OP
The Rick thread has been 30% completed. It is a tedious progress, but I am alright with sacrificing my time to do it. #payquasi has been refined to be more lulzy with his lolyers and the celebration video. Saga titles have also been rewrote.
These will be the rewrite's revision needed to be written:
  1. The blue check hubris and the Twitter ban + payments to get unbanned
  2. BDA
  3. Uncovering of mugshot and death threat to wife and daughter
  4. Swattings and the audio of the arrest
  5. Leslie transformation from auntie dogooder to patposter because of Rick being Rick (title rename)
  6. Writer crusade (title rename and additional lolz)
  7. Compendium of best ONA pranks (bonus points for archiving all of Mrs Badger's pics... for science)
  8. The victim media tour and Javier/BnR giving the last word to the ONA guys
  9. Robinson et al vs the City of Milwaukee
Saga suggestion by @John Flory. Hiatus would be on weekends. My apologies for the constant hiatus for the solo project.

i’ll be honest, i’m going to release a thread sometime soon. since the project has been on hold, i’ve been working on new cows that the farms should see

when we return, i’m going to work on lolcows that take more time. i feel like once i get those out of the way, lesser known cows should be easier to consistently pump out.

it’s going to take a lot out of me, but it’s the goodwill of the community that keeps me going. i don’t want to be a massive faggot about it, but i am glad we are consistently pushing out progress month by month. even if this project never took off, id probably still rewrite threads because shitty unarchived OPs piss me off

The project being put on hiatus got me thinking about how we should approach rewrites going forward to prevent a similar scenario where we crank out 8 completed OP rewrites, many of which are multiple posts and extremely long, and create a backlog because only Null can move and insert the OPs and it's a lot of work for just him to sit through and approve them.

I also thought about your comment about doing lolcows that take more time first to get them out of the way. I think maybe the best approach when the project resumes is we all work on a single OP rewrite together (someone writes the OP, someone does research, etc...) and we do them one at a time so instead of a huge backlog building up, it's a single OP for Null to review, and the new one starts after the insertion of the previous one is done. What do you think?

If that's the case, I nominate Brian Martin & Kevin Martin to be the next collaborative project. If anyone is interested in working on the thread, let me know and I will add you to a group PM. He is long overdue for a rewrite, and Kevin is absolutely in need of a thread but would be better suited as an accessory of Brian.

My guess is that it requires giving someone a level of permissions over KF that Null isn't willing to give out for security reasons.

Other admin accounts (One, Ride, WagglyPlacebo) have the ability to overwrite posts like that iirc but they're not always the most active even in general. Normal mods can move threads out of PG just fine, but overwriting posts is something else entirely.
