I'm browsing Twitter and all I see from Sony fans now is them arguing with PC gamers about how you can't create a rig on par with the Pro for $700. Truly the most insufferable fanbase.

It's always funny to hear them cope and leave out all the additional costs to Sony's greedy bullshit. These retards are too stupid to realize that a 12month sub to PSN essential, the cheapest model, costs $80 a year. Considering 4 years of service to go on, that's $320 and now you're sitting at $1,130 for a stand and disc drive. Then we found out that the PS5 controllers are basically designed to break with their purposely shitty quality controllers, forcing you to drop at least $75 for another controller. Oh wow, you're already at $1,205.

That's all pretending you didn't factor in the baseline price of already needing to buy a home PC for everything else in your life.

Side-sperg - I saw a screenshot of FF7 remake vs FF7 original, one that showed a bajillion different shit on screen in super-high res, vs a bland texture of ff7 and I honestly preferred the bland texture. FF7 remake looks soulless, like a netflix original film or hollywood B-roll movie.

That's because the OG FF7 pre-rendered backgrounds had soul and were great at conveying a sense of scale. Because they're 2D, the artist can frame each scene exactly how they want you to see them and pack it with details. Something you can't reasonably get in a full 3D game unless you have an absurd art budget.
