The thing that always frustrates me about pooners who take the yaoi pill is that what they're fantasizing about are ultimately straight relationships. Yes, they're written with two cartoon guys or some other fandom nonsense. But they're written with the same dynamic and fembrained trains of thought as regular romances. And while real relationships aren't romance novels (or fanfics, as it were), if they got over their delusional fantasies or worked out their trauma from whatever made them want to escape their body if that's the case, they could have fulfilling, healthy relationships with men. But many of them ruin their bodies not just in regards to looks but health as well and some spend 20s and into their 30s now wasting some of the best years to find a partner uglifying themselves and trying to hang around gay men who don't want anything to do with them. At best they get some skeevy bisexual dude who is willing to look past all the body hair and balding. It's really sad. I know there are a few who have come out of it like that girl that now calls herself a trad wife and had a baby but she was still pretty young when she quit and is just flat chested now but otherwise looks normal.
What should be a time for them to work past things, gain self-worth and confidence enough to have good boundaries with people, etc. is just ruining their health, looks, and pushing them further into delusions and insecurities, as well as telling them that if they pretend hard enough they "belong" in the absolutely deranged, sex pesty gay culture.
