Assassin's Creed thread

It's actually so much worse than the tranny mods realize. Once you strip away that fraud professor's research Kang Samurai is mentioned in like two very vague and sketchy historical accounts of Nobunaga's court.

There's a non zero chance this guy was entirely fictional. That's how big the academic fraud is here.
And even if he wasn't like people said previously in the thread he was probably just Nobunaga's funni brack manu.
Even if he was real there is no fucking chance he was a samurai or anything close to one.

It's really funny that everyone assumes that the Jesuits are a 100% trustworthy source at all, especially when they were constantly lying to the Japanese during this period.

Do you know of Paris Syndrome? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paris_syndrome

Basically it's when Japanese people have a romanticized view of Paris/France but they go into shock when they encounter the actual reality (French niggers/Muslims, city thieves, rats, and the smell of piss).

I think Paris Syndrome 2.0 is Assassin's Creed: Shadows.
And I think Paris Syndrome 3.0 is currently developing (the 2024 Paris Olympics).

I noticed that if you go to ACS videos on Ubisoft's official YouTube channel (not Ubisoft Japan), there seems to be a deluge of Japanese commenters lamenting the game, Ubisoft, France and the West in general. From my experience, Japanese YouTube users mainly comment on specifically Japanese videos made or localized for them so for them to enter foreign territory means I think that ACS really was a thorn on the Japanese people's side. Thanks to improvements in translation technology, Japanese (gamers) have been forced to be less insular and are coming into more direct contact with Western (progressive) opinions on Japan/Japanese people/Japanese culture and also learning the typical leftist buzzwords. And they don't like it.

What's funny is that you have English Ubislop supporter speakers (writing in English) in the comment sections replying to Japanese people (writing in Japanese) who are critical of the game. They mainly say 2 things: you're a bot or a general dismissive comment like who cares (about your opinion)/it's just a game/ur racist. And what's funny is other Japanese users replying in Japanese making rebuttals and counter-arguments saying things like "Ubisoft is making a historically accurate game about Japan and you're here telling Japanese their opinions don't matter?" or "the OP is not a bot and is not using AI translations. We Japanese can tell if a Japanese is a bot or a real person"

Have a dig around for some funny interactions between Westerners and Japanese YouTube commenters. Just as an example, here's a recent vid, one on Ubisoft and one on Ubisoft Japan, both with Japanese commenters. Stick with the non-Japan Ubisoft YouTube channel if you want a more diverse commenter crowd.

>YWN have a based loving Japanese wife who shits on "progressive" retards with you when they mock her culture in name of representation & empowerment.

Why live bros?
Just get a based loving wife of your own ethnic group. It gets wild when you consider yourself a gigachud but your wife says things you'd never dare to say out loud :story:

Look at the 1999 era horse animations at 0:28,
This is gonna outdo Skull and Bones in terribleness.
I noticed that immediately too. Despite all the shit flinging regarding Yasuke, what has slid under the radar is the absolutely abhorrent animation quality we have seen so far. The original combat showcase was also full of choppy and shitty truncated animations that are far below the acceptable standard of modern AAA slop.

Archiving confirmed bots because fuck astroturfing. Ironic considering "they" often accuse Japanese users of being bots with no proof.

Okay let's make our way to the Ubisoft Japan Youtube page.

Here's a few comments from Japanese users.

Here's an amazing thread where the Japanese, Korean and Chinese people (famously known for hating each other) unite to dunk on the game, despite not knowing each other's language. For this kind of thing to happen, you KNOW Ubisoft fucked up.

The trailer is meant to show the best of the game, but they couldn't fill 2 minutes without exposing how they couldn't get that basic thing right.
Also, I'm not normally one to play identity politics, but could we at least have one masculine heroic role for an East Asian man in a Western game franchise instead of inserting in yet another Johnny ChocolateFace if given the tiniest thread of an opportunity.

Holy shit, this really is becoming an international disaster lmfao
Are other AssCreed games this historically inaccurate as well? It would be funny if Ubisoft has been shitting on history for years now but Yuros were too pussywhipped to complain about it and we had to wait for Japanese to make a big stink.

I don't know why this has occurred to me now, but I'm now convinced this crap has been going on for awhile with AAA games (and probably other stuff). No wonder certain fandoms have become divided. Because it's being gaslit into believing people who support the stupid crap going on in certain franchises are a majority or a sizable minority when they are most likely just full of a bunch of bots, contrarians, and shills.

Continuing my autistic Ubisoft Bot deep dive.

Asmongold has reacted to the Ubibot situation and in his video there are even more bots that I couldn't find myself (because they got deleted or downvoted).

I made a Ubibot comment and profile compilation:

ubibot compilation.jpg

The currently most upvoted comment on the ACS world trailer video is this one:

ubibot diversity.jpg

There are 15 confirmed Ubibots (including the 4 in my previous post). All of them have a handful of subs, and all of them have a join date of May/June/July 2021, and all of them have 5000 botted likes.

The racial makeup of the bots are:

12 White females
1 Asian female
1 Black male
1 female of unconfirmed race

Ignoring personal subjective tastes and preferences, we can say that all of the female bots are attractive and none of them appear to be fat (no body diversity here). With 1 or 2 possible exceptions, all of the White females appear to actually be White so half-Black mutts and Latinas are not represented here. One of the White female bots is a possible tranny ("Steven" Burgess). The Asian female (Barbara Dunham) is a typical cute feminine young girl (leftists, especially White women, usually hate them) and is one of the most attractive bots, at least top 3. The Black male with dreadlocks and tattoos appears to be a typical hoodrat (no normal non-gangsta Black men are represented here).

Asian men are notably, not represented in bot diversity. So based on the bots, the target audience of this game isn't Asian (and White) men, but attractive mid-20's White women who's hobbies include makeup and posting on instagram (just a guess)? Or the intended audience is Asian and White men, which is why they use attractive White women bots.

With all this mind, imagine the possibility that someone at Ubisoft actually handpicked these profile pictures. Do they think White women are the most attractive race? What happened to Black is Beautiful? Why not have some sheboon bots shill the game? Do they think men around the world don't find Black women attractive compared to White women? That says a lot about the progressive leftist mindset and yes, racist mindset, doesn't it?

Maybe Ubisoft didn't directly make the buts and the source of these bots are Indian bot farms. But I doubt the Indians created the actual comments themselves. Someone at Ubisoft marketing must have fed it to them. What is extremely likely is that someone at Ubisoft made the comments themselves. Apart from the typical positive shill comments, a few of them are preemptive defensive comments, as if they knew what negative comments gamers would make before they even made them (the bot comments were posted very early).

"If feels like if you're not pointing out every single historical detail - you get criticized for being a ubisoft bot" Ironic... coming from a bot.

The settings were more just a backdrop to the Assassin's vs Templar plot. AC1 was during the Third crusade in 1191 but all the goings on of the day happen away from Altair. After AC3 they kept trying to tie in the setting more and more with the Assassin plot line. But it wasn't too bad because you played a fictional character. What they are doing now is making a mountain out of a mole hill with the main character and the setting/storyline.
