I don't really recommend playing either. If you really really want an open world game with a bazillion outposts and bandit camps and floaty combat GOT has a pretty good PC port, I'm pretty sick of these games but it's considerably better than any recent Assassin's Creed game.

if you just want to grind through an open world you can literally just play genshin for free.

however apparently fenyx and the avatar game aren't that bad either. I'd go as far and say fenyx is worth a try simply because ubisoft canceled the sequel, it must have some quality then.

I'd still buy and 100% valhalla if it was on steam with achievements, but they made a point out of leaving the achievements off steam

those became pointless the minute they removed ubi rewards, steam or not.

Just wanna pop in and say my thoughts on ac games I've played recently since this is the thread for it.

I've been picking away gradually on Mirage after getting it during the evo special sale. It's probably the most fun I've had with a recent ac game. I despised the play style of Odyssey and Origins (though I have a desk statuette from the latter), haven't messed with Valhalla even though I own it (somehow).

Nexus is a bit of goofy ass fun when I hop on the Quest, but the sword mechanism is unintuitive and assist only barely works for me. It may be due to settings, I'll mess with them when I have time. Still, going around as Ezio and eating any fruit or bread in sight is amusing.

My favorite, overall, is still Syndicate. Can't help it, Zipping around Victorian London and helping out is insanely satisfying, plus Jacob and Evie are just endearing enough for me to overlook them being shitheads. I will admit to owning a replica cane sword from the game.

They have been selling AC as somewhat historically accurate since the beginning and had a historical sightseeing mode since Origins. They brought historical fanfic writers and tried to pass them off as actual historians. There is no scenario in which Ubisoft can escape the backlash this time.

I visited that subreddit after reading your comment and yup, they have a pinned thread titled:
"There is no "debate" - Yasuke was a Samurai. If you disagree, you can do that somewhere else."
Of course the thread is locked and these tranny mods didn't even post the thread with their own accounts, they did it with the automoderator bot. Funniest part is that despite them banning any comments going against their agenda, a lot of the comments in that thread praising the mod decision are heavily downvoted.
