Whenever I hear someone with known addictive personality mention “they don’t even like opiates, they make me sick” I immediately know they are lying and trying to hide their love of pain pills or their addiction to them. It’s almost a stereotype for a pillhead to claim opiates make them sick, so no way could you think they might have a problem!

Lowtax went so far to claim not only did opiates make him sick, he was allergic to them!! I think he just substituted the word “allergic” for addicted, because the guy ate pain pills like M&Ms for over a decade.

I genuinely don't get why people like pain pills so much. They just made me itchy and sleepy when I had a couple last year. Wonder if it's because doctors are more careful and give out pussy doses now.

Oh well, probably not something I need to be pursuing lol.

They aren't really fun unless you have a taste for them and aren't using them for their intended purpose. I think most junkies say this because even they know outright admitting to being a dope fiend is still not socially acceptable outside dope fiend circles.

Doctors can get royally fucked over by the feds if they're merely suspected of running a pill farm. I needed a root canal a few years ago and the dentist treated me like a fucking meth junkie even though his assistant did the preliminary x-ray on my teeth and could see what was bothering me. I eventually had to tell him "Look, I don't care if you give me painkillers or not. Just fix whatever's going on."

But what you're describing sounds like the same stuff I got prescribed. I didn't get high and I don't think it helped me with any of the pain, but I did sleep through most of it. Then again, I'm guessing they only wrote me a script for the low grade stuff. The pills the junkies like are probably meant for people suffering from chronic pain. Ralph likely gets his stuff from counterfeit suppliers and it's very likely his pills get cut with other things like fentanyl.

You’re right, opiates when used only for severe pain don’t result in addiction. They basically just help someone endure through terrible pain without losing their mind. You couldn’t do surgery without them because most people could not tolerate the post-op days without some.

I’ve known plenty of non-dope fiends who will get prescribed them after surgery or injury and are like “wow, I can see how people get addicted to this stuff” or weirdly talk like it’s LSD or say they got a lot of boring housework done on a cloud of joy because it gave them energy. Some just go to sleep. Some just don’t like the way it makes them feel overall, weird, lethargic, etc..

I’ve only encountered one non-addict that did say the stereotypical of “it makes me sick” and but then qualified that by saying it made her slightly nauseous and woozy. She had just had major surgery on her leg and said she struggled to chose which was worse the healing surgical site or the laying in bed woozy all day, so tended to alternate or only take the pills when her leg pain got unbearable. Both kept her off her feet which she absolutely hated. (Her normal level of productivity and focus made her immune to additive traits as fas as I could tell)

But besides that one person, everyone else I’ve heard loudly proclaim opiates “make them sick” we’re trying to hide the fact they like them way way too much.

When I was a junior in high school I had a kidney stone that put me in agonizing 24/7 pain and I was prescribed Oxycodone. I took it as prescribed and felt the exact way you did why do people ruin their lives over this shit? Then one day I was bored and decided to take one more then I was prescribed because fuck it and within 40 minutes or so I felt intense euphoria. Just the best I had ever felt no worries just complete serenity. I knew from that point on why people got addicted to the stuff and why it was extremely important not to abuse it. There is a 0% chance Ralph is not using it to get high btw.

After the guest left Ralph did a little crowing about how cool he was and then started acting like a real salty bitch, bitterly rehashing the past.

He starts deboonking stories about trashburgers and old relationships (unsuccessfully). Around twenty minutes into the sixth hour he brings up The Soph Incident. The way he's talking out the side of his mouth, the grinning, and his sound effects makes him look extra greasy.

Oh, and it was a reminder that her handle was 'sewer nugget'. Of course he was enamored.

Shortly after this clip, Ralph would go on about how Medicare raped his girlfriend live on air and how evil that was. The amount of hypocrisy here is unreal, and it's even more unbelievable that it occurred back to back. :stress:

I'm excited for frequent trips to the US. Most of the people don't understand what he's saying in Mexico, they just hear a pig squealing. When Ralph says something stupid in the US it's easier for people to mock him to his face.
