But, but....he belongs there.
He feels so peaceful (while on a holiday).

I'm not really sure what he considers flags for him belonging there. He barely speaks the language and does not have the heritage. Liking Japanese food and basing your whole personality on a Bing Bing Wahoo machine in not candidacy for citizenship cheebs.
It's not hard to stumble through Japan as a dumb American. Don't act like a retard, use your phone to communicate, point at food you want and use the American power of speaking English louder to do what you have to do. Their culture is sort of geared toward pointing people in the right direction so if you do something wrong they'll politely correct you. I went a couple years back and I just wondered around and got into fun conversations with Japanese people who could speak English. Their baseball games are really fun to watch.

My point is that Japan is travel on easy mode.

Cosplaying at TGS requires you to apply and paid for admission ( only like $20 ) but is Chibi smart enough to read the rules?

I hope not, the pity party fallout of him showing up in full Edgeworth cosplay to the event, only to be told "go home white-piggu" for not following easily found rules, would be hilarious. Do not let me down Cheebs.

They typically tend to be idols representing a brand or a model hired to pose as said character by the company at events, but you won't normally see people in their 30s or above walking around dressed as video game, manga, or anime characters.
The only time I've seen cosplayers in Japan was one day we were in Odaiba just walking around and there was a convention going on at Big Sight. Loads of them milling about but they were all youngsters. Like teens and the occasional 20 something.

Cosplay outside of designated areas is mostly seen as deeply cringe.
Yes. And some people go to great lengths to hide their nerdery especially from their younger days.

Now I really want Chibi to wind up moving to Japan. The fallout from all this when he wakes up one day and realizes what a pathetic house of cards he's got there is going to be epic.

Travel is one thing. Living there is another.

The last thing you see looking down at your pitiful attempt at collecting ~$20USD admission fee tiny yellow man.

Side note, how is his nostril so fucked up? Has cheebs had his nose broken before, like my septum is fucked because my nose has been broken at least 6 times but goddamn, even my shits not this off putting

But Chibi? Chibi never changes. Without fail, each time I return, he's still stuck in his little Chibi Cycle. It makes him the coziest lolcow for me. I know he's always there, exactly as expected.
This is why Chibi is my favorite cow. He may never win any of the prestigious Lolcow Awards, but he is a goddamn workhorse when it comes to putting out a dependable stream of cringe, and he's especially been on fire this year.
So we know it's possible to get banned from Japan thanks for Logan Paul. What would happen to Chibi if he was told he could never enter blessed Nippon again?
He's going to discover a hitherto unknown love of South Korea and start cosplaying as G-Dragon.

Doesn't Japan have an unusually high concentration of creepy older dudes who are wildly inappropriate to young women? At the very least that's what his anime tells him, so I can see why he feels at home there.

Chibi is such a loser going on vacation to japan with his Exgf haha (Actually this is a rare chibi W) Until Chibi fucks it up like idk getting kicked out of a love hotel for them both being a sperg or some shit. This is genuinely a win for him.

Funny you say that, as he seems to have recently stumbled upon the Shinigami Eyes of corporate insight

The fuck is he even responding to? It's a Japan Times article that just states a fact and he's sperging out as if they were encouraging Japan's economy to crash or something.

Yesss, YESSSSSSS!!

Isn't TGS the Japanese E3? The only people I'd expect to be cosplaying there are actors hired to advertise games. Is this gonna be Anime Rave 2: Autistic Boogaloo where he's the only attendee in cosplay? Fingers crossed.

More like E3 is the American TGS. Even more so since TGS still exists and E3 doesn't. Also, I had a look at the E3 wiki page. This doesn't sound very encyclopedia-like. Did the wiki jannies overlook it?

Edit: Janny reversed it. I swear it wasn't me.

I saw that the other day and wondered what would be funnier: if he posted on Facebook "THEY DIDN'T LET ME IN BECAUSE I DIDN'T PAY THE COSPLAY REGISTRATION WAAAAH! WAAAAH!" or if he paid the admission and a chubby autistic mid-thirties version of Miles Edgeworth was seen wandering around a relatively high profile game show.
I might be wrong but isn't TGS a relatively esteemed event for game devs and journalists as opposed to some kind of comic con? On top of that, I'm pretty sure you aren't allowed in if your personal hygiene isn't up to par (knowing the stinky sweaty skin-flaking shedding Chibi, that alone will be a serious roadblock)

How the hell is he going to Japan again? I know the yen's weak against the dollar right now, but not that weak. I've got a very well paying job and barely have the time or spending money to go on an overseas trip just once a year.
Cheebs seems to have very little in the way of expenses. Despite how much he bitches about his mom, I’m like 90% positive she paid/pays for his condo. He’s kinda living life on easy mode, but he is also Chibi. I think it balances itself out.

Hmm... "cosplay," you say.

My... associate, Aquana, is the one who participates in such activities. I, the esteemed Miles Edgeworth, am merely attending this venue in my usual attire. Our party suggests waving your pithy "cosplay fee..." unless you want a case on your hands...
Imagine you are a Japanese cosplay enthusiast. You spent the last 12 months working on your outfit. Making patterns, sewing, working with EVA foam and color matching paint. The night before TGS was a energy drink manic last minute sessions perfecting your outfit. You get to the show and here comes Chibi in a ratty wig and store bought clothes, eager to put himself on the same level as you and slime his way into your panties.

My understanding has always been that it's a trade show, it primarily exists to advertise and network with game devs and journos/content creators, like you say.

I guess it could be fun to go as a member of the public just to look around, but I get the feeling Chibi has a very different idea of the experience than what he's actually going to get (assuming he even makes it past security without making a scene over his cosplay).
