As someone who has never seen a second of LTG playing, I'd give him better odds just based on these two things. Phil, despite all his complaining about pattern players and flowcharts, is very much a pattern/flowchart player. He knows a few gimmicks to get his wins, but he's basically a one trick pony and once people realize that (assuming they have the experience) they can counter-play around him and Phil can't adapt. I think Phil would do pretty well in the beginning, but then lose the rest of the set if LTG can use his knowledge of fundamentals to counter Phil's largely throw based strategy. From what I've seen, just having a good air game is enough to fluster Phil.LTG:
+ broader experience with more fighting games, notably has much better fundamentals
+ abuses zoning and cheese strats
