To tell how important Virginia is, If Virginia and Penn go red then the Dems must win 3 battlegrounds (Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada) states to win, Trump will only need to win only 1 one of themAgain, I'm saying it: Virginia is ON THE TABLE. And, considering the amount of government workers who reside in Northern VA, I think that if Trump wins VA, then he's got GA, NC, and PA in the bag ... And it will be an early election night.
And Youngkin de-fortifying the state helps a helluva lot.
No, to them it feels good. It's just like their college parties and their work parties.Holy shit, these sellout whores called journalists are going to get tired of getting their entire shit pushed in, right? They can't keep letting this happen, can they?
I seen a long effort thread on twitter breaking down Cronkite spinning the Tet Offensive as somehow a loss just cemented the American attitude towards it. That shakey coverage at the time has just crystalized into the "facts" that are taught now. I have huge respect for the vietnamese and what they were doing there, and I think we in no way should have been involved with it. But that emotion doesn't cloud the actual facts of the war, at all. I had two uncles killed there, and many extended family killed there as well. I think it's owed to them to be honest about what happened as much as being honest about why. Cronkite's name should be shit on as much as anyone else involved in that fuckign mess. The only victory of the Tet Offensive is that the commies convinced some Americans that the Vietnam War was lost. Again: the Tet Offensive ended in March 1968. Nixon won the election in November. Americans were not opposed to the Vietnam War nearly as much as they were LBJ's handling of it.
In fact, the Tet Offensive ruined American's view of how LBJ handled the war, not so much the war overall. Democrats have successfully lied about this.
I'm not kidding when I say that the casualty differences between the US/South Vietnamese and the Viet Cong/NVA are stark. It was not a huge cost to us or the South Vietnamese considering what the communists expended on that operation.
Also, I don't know why you're going to bat for Walter Cronkite, who was literally in favor of one world government. You will be very, very hard-pressed to convince me or anyone else that Walter Cronkite was some disillusioned, red-blooded Cold Warrior.
General Loan did nothing wrong.I seen a long effort thread on twitter breaking down Cronkite spinning the Tet Offensive as somehow a loss just cemented the American attitude towards it. Cronkite being held up as the saint of journalism will remain appropriate.Cronkite's name should be shit on as much as anyone else involved in that fuckign mess.

The way that the Vietnam war is portrayed in the West as akin to the victory of David over Goliath is insane. I remember when I first found out that the ratio of Vietcong deaths to US military was at least 10:1, I was blown away. The Vietcong got absolutely fucking wrecked.
Ignorant fool. Read your history. Nixon deployed B-52s in large numbers, many of which got wrecked.
Why throw a trash can when you can just make another shitpost, which can be lovingly characterized as a kind of super trash can?Let he who is without shitposts cast the first trash can.
If you could grasp what is being said, by virtue of a system being what it does, this thread is clearly for shitposting, kvetching, and memes (also possibly vintage cartoon discussion). Not whining that one's posts aren't being thoughtfully engaged with in the Autistic Thunderdome. That was a topic years ago in the Meta thread which was roundly mocked ( because it was libs in disguise crying but still).so you derail it further?
They are the lesbian party.I guess if we use leftist logic, democrats support domestic violence.
Cronkite turning on Vietnam is big because LBJ and his ball fondlers in the media basically were gaslighting people into thinking they shouldn't think about Veitnam and how many of our kids are being senselessly being killed overseas and Tet was a cold splash of red pill water that this shit was bad, we were NOT winning and shit was only going to get worse not better. It black pilled Cronkite and made him turn on the war, which was huge given how Cronkite was a huge establishment stooge, that it broke the simulation that everything was hunky dory and under control.I seen a long effort thread on twitter breaking down Cronkite spinning the Tet Offensive as somehow a loss just cemented the American attitude towards it. Killing commies isn’t a good enough reason?WE HAD NO GOOD FUCKING REASON TO BE KILLING THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE.
The B-52 was designed by Boeing in the 1950s from a weekend hotel visit. Its first flight was on April 15, 1952. Quite an interesting piece of aircraft if you're into that sort of thing.Since we're ignorant, enlighten us - when was the B-52 designed, and when did it first take flight?
I want to know @Habanero Delight's answer. The B-52 was designed by Boeing in the 1950s from a weekend hotel visit. Its first flight was on April 15, 1952. Quite an interesting piece of aircraft if you're into that sort of thing.
Anyone got that short story posted a while back of a liberal coup where they start a middle east war and use that to kill the Internet and then do a massive right wing purge? Which only backfires when not-Obama balks and it's not to kill all remaining right wing media types once the people start realizing what's going on and leads to one of the ringleaders of the coup opining as she's led to the gallows how the coup would have succeeded had Not-Obama gotten cocky in thinking that they were untouchable and able to dismiss anyone calling them out as conspiracy nuts (and cursing him for fleeing right before the masses rose up and overthrew the left)?
I'm not sure where is best to post this but because it involves 2 States I think it fits here.
"Which Mexico are you? New Mexico furious after Texas installs razor wire along its border"
Texas has saw fit to install around 7,000 feet of razor wire along it's border with New Mexico.

They are some of the most consistent voters in the country, unless your some sort of extreme Anabaptist sect like the Amish no one is going “it’s too worldly to vote” much less evangelicals who are some the most politically activealso he's leaning hard on the head-in-the-sand sped christcucks who don't vote because MUH WORLDLY THINGS, who are a redonkulously high amount of possible conservative voters

The usual suspects are using the sheriff in Kentucky that killed a judge as proof of MAGA extremism.
Only, oops, he was a Democrat who was being deposed in a case involving one of his deputies sexually assaulting women who were on house arrest.
