It's a game with zero replay value. It's just about the last game that should get a remaster. Just goes to show how desperate and retarded Sony is, though not desperate enough to do anything with that mountain of IP corpses.

It'd be a smart business decision, upgrading some older games for free would help a little to make the case for PS5 Pro, insofar as such a thing is even possible.

I'd like to remind everyone that Bloodborne Kart is the only real game in this. Sony tried to copyright strike it, so it came under a new name for free on Steam.

Dude, DLC is something thats new. This "remaster" is the same game. They arent adding new content. Horizon Zero Dawn had the Frozen Wilds DLC which was added to the GOTY edition. So If u own the GOTY edition then u are paying 10$ for the same shit u already purchased. Just a slightly higher frame rate/Resolution.

Upsides of the Lunar Remaster - seemingly no more Working Designs Vic Ireland slop comedy about dated 90s shit like Bill Clinton
Downsides - Modern Localization

Although I have trouble thinking of anything modern troons would object to in Lunar. It's got a little bit of softcore nudity but tbh I'm more worried about CERO nuking that before the troons can even bother.

DLC was literally free for a good several years, PSP had TONS of that shit and weirdly sometimes designated websites to download it off. I remember getting all the shit for the psp megaman remake back in the day off some official capcom site. Just like they killed/locked out backwards compatibility on the ps3 with an update, DLC went from free to $5-$10 microtransaction skins.

There are longstanding "unworked" or "unworking" patches to both the Sega CD and PS1 versions of both games you can and should use. I'm assuming nobody is paying ebay money for these anyway.

It's a recurring theme with the woke crowd in many other parts of entertainment. They infest good products because they've already had established fanbases, so they think they can just pull the wool over their eyes and do all sorts of woke shit without backlash. They know if they did an original IP and made it woke from the start, it would flop like Dustborn. Even in tv shows nowadays, its often the classic "1-2 good seasons until it wokes out of control".

The 7800 retails for about $500 so it doesn't even break the bank. Sure, building a whole powerful PC is going to be more expensive up front but it doesn't have all the hidden costs and restrictions of a console.

It always comes back to Snoys being dumb cattle, they just want an idiot-proof box, using a PC requires thinking and that's too much of an ask.

the 7800XT is significantly more powerful than the PS5 Pro, as the pro lacks the infinity cache and runs at much lower clocks

I see they haven't learned their lesson after Concord, if Microsoft pumped out first party games at a faster rate, Sony would be done for, they aren't PS1 or PS2 era Sony, they just want to sell a box that runs Ubislop or CDPR games, they choose to rely on Multiplats.
