What is going through April's mind as Nick's falsehoods is revealed?
1. April is charged 2 months after Nick takes credit for keeping her out of jail and getting charges dropped.
2. Aaron doesn't plead guilty to felony revenge porn.
3. The warrant that forms the basis for April's arrest and that Nick guaranteed would be thrown out is deemed very strong by court.
4. Despite all of Nicks coke fueled optimism, nothing he said has come to fruition. April is still facing a felony as are Nick and Kayla. Aaron is not in Jail. She didn't get spousal support or any proceeds from the house in the divorce. Her speeding tick was not dismissed or even contested. Nick isn't leaving Kayla for April.

She should be terrified. Will it take a prison sentence to wake her up?

The case against April is fascinating to me. I don't really understand why she's being prosecuted here. It's a lot of time and effort to secure what will turn out to be a minor misdemeanor for possession.

Presumably, if Nick had taken a plea right at the start, both Kayla and April would have gotten a pass? (That's how it'd work here in the UK anyway.) But I get the impression that the charges against April are really just an attempt to punish Nick for being an asshole, calling them liars, etc. etc.
