Jersh would occasionally expression frustration over the fact that Metokur was able to have a patreon/subscribestar while he was struggling to keep the farms afloat and losing access to his payment processers and getting debanked in the early MATI days. I can't remember if he ever outright said Metokur was able to monetize content from the farms or just said that Metokur's content covered stuff that was also in the farm's wheelhouse and could get monetized while the farms couldn't, but it's led to years of skub and needless anger. I personally really like both; early MATI was a great counterpart to Jim content since it was mostly covering older lolcows while Jim covered contemporary happenings, and now Jersh is the true and honest king of the sektur.

I don't think Josh has any particular beef with Jim and Jim definitely doesn't have any particular animosity with Josh (hell, if anything, Jim gained a lot of respect for Josh for standing up to all the insane shit from drop kiwifarms).

Jim seems to have always been very good separating "internet shit" and real life. He clearly had a full life outside of online space, basically, I don't think he pays much mind to online people unless he's checking out at the new happenings or preparing a stream/video on a topic.

What I do think Josh has is envy of Metokur, and I'm honestly not surprised, Jim is the eDaddy that can do no wrong and is so aloof at not giving a shit that he gets all the asspats. Got demonitized a bit but still can rake a ton of cash more easilly than Josh and at the end of the day it's his way of expressing what makes Jim such a success, not the actual content he gathers. Some of his best streams were the mornings with Metokur without anything too specific and just looking at random shit, giving comentary and shooting the shit.
