I might be in the minority, but I thought both sides came across well. I mean the bar was so low for them, look normal for your party, and I think they both pulled it off.
This is going to be the cope moving forward for libs. They're going to ignore JD dogwalking Waltz and say "omg im so glad it was so cordial and sane.... wow....."

The Young Turks are trying to spin it almost as though Vance is being held at gunpoint by Trump. I have no idea where they're pulling the notion that Trump was pissed off by Vance and is puppeteering Vance.

"I want to know more about what Vance genuinely thinks about our democracy." - Ana Kasparian
1) It's a constitutional republic that you and your masters have hijacked
2) Vance genuinely thinks you're batshit crazy

She's defending Vance so much that it makes me think she got hot and bothered for him.

>swing state polls "tied" (i.e. Trump actually up by at least five)
>feds totally botch hurricane response
>Middle East situation the worst it's been in our lifetime
>dockworkers strike, prices on everything about to soar even higher
>Walz BTFO

Bad last couple weeks for the Kamala campaign, huh?
The spooky part is how they're acting like none of it matters right before a presidential election.

I think Vance and Walz being actually nice to each other was cute.
Yeah, this was the first debate in a long ass time where both candidates were normal people who I find respectable. Like honestly this is the first time since George W Bush (as hard as Obama tried, his niggardly ways are genetically hard coded so I know it was all an act)

I was really expecting him to go hard. I'm not astute enough to say which is better, the rabid attack dog, or the calm level headed yang to trump's yin.
Vance played his cards right tonight.

I know a lot of Trump supporters who say that they only like his policies but find his personality to be off-putting at times. My husband, who is voting for Trump and has voted for Trump before, still has a lot of grievances about Trump's "behavior" ... Especially when it comes to debates (he finds Trump's style of debating to be annoying). Well ... He just became a JD Vance fanboy after tonight's debate and he's now more excited than ever to vote for this ticket. lol.

I imagine that a LOT of moderates are feeling more inclined and comfortable to vote for Trump and Vance after tonight's debate.

Trump's age is something to talk about, too. Something could very well happen to him while he's in office during a second term, leaving Vance in charge. America got to see a calm, cool, collected, and confident guy who is young and healthy tonight.

Got done listening. The female moderators were terrible, couldn't they have got some other girls that could speak better? I'm glad I'm not the only one that gets weird vibes from Walz. He seems like the old man that kicks the family dog when he's angry. The turning Helene into a discussion on fucking climate change when I just recently got running water back, my electricity is still off, and people elsewhere are still missing or dead made me genuinely seethe harder than anything I can think of in recent time, and made me more angry than usual about every other dumb ass non-issue question that followed. The abortion question made me seethe too, listening to Walz completely and blatantly lie about Amber Thurman, and say this shit after quoting the Bible. I got angry at Vance for not saying what I was yelling in my head, but he handled it okay. Every time Walz paused bizarrely while talking made it sound like he was waiting for the person speaking into his earpiece to tell him what to say. I'm not accusing him of that, it was just funny. Vance came off very professional and well spoken, and I'm someone that was very on the fence about him. I think Trump made a great pick now. This was hardly a VP debate, more Walz debating Trump because he couldn't stop talking about him. And the project 2025 shit, oh my god...

Personally I liked when Walz civilly muttered he doesn't care about 1st Amendment rights.

There's a human under there and it reacted favorably to getting yelled at.
What the fuck.
its called a woman, and it might shock you to find out about half of humans have that condition and 2/3rds of humans enrolled in college right now
and tell her hungover mocha ass that Tim completely and absolutely fucked things up
I'm pretty sure i know one way to help her hungover mocha ass be fine with whatever bad news i'm about to say to her ;)
