and replace Biden's picture at the top with a focused shot of Trumps weiner from that statue. every time i open the thread i want to be reminded of his schlong so i can worship and obsess over it. i can't go one second without thinking of old man dick. it permeates my thoughts even while i'm sleeping. all of my political opinions are based entirely around this one obsession

Its never been so over for the dems. Vance was prepared, Walz was not. While the VP debate usually has low impact, the polls have been pretty tight no matter how you look at them. It just needs to swing a thousand here, a thousand there, and Trump wins. And Kamala knows it. They are so fucked. And they only have just over a month to swing it around. They cant. Its so fucking done.

It will boost support for Trump within the base and solidify turnout. It also secured Vance as the 2028 pick. Vance vs DeSantis would be a similar bloodbath.

that presumes that the us having a global empire is good for the average person which it just plainly isnt. its dragged us and our economy down. and its a shit ally thats done basically nothing but let us fight wars that benefit it and sink our ship and sell off our secrets and call us bigots while being the sole reason they still exist. even before alot of the jew stuff i still didnt like us playing world police or propping up an ally that hates us and siphons our resources.
so it is legitimate only in so much as you find the current paradigm legitimate of us tolerating browns burning down our towns here while we virtue signal then bomb babies in the middle east. i find this not at all legitimate on a moral, fiscal, or any level. i know im essentially asking the us empire to basically be an entirely different country ... but thats kinda where my frustration stems from in that it really really needs to become a completely different country.
edit probably still being too laser focused on it its obvious alot of them in the us dont like him for supposed racism for not supporting mass immigration and for saying itd be their fault partially if he lost or more likely twisting his words to be that. hed be a step in the right direction probably just sometimes i long for an unrealistic giant leap

Not to mention that a lot of voters questioning Trump's age have far less to worry about with Vance after last night, too.
I firmly believe that Vance put those fears to rest by appearing to be so articulate, capable, confident, empathetic, informative, etc. This was one of the best debate performances that's happened in my lifetime.

(A) it's not just Rasmussen and Baris showing him with better numbers. Almost every pollster shows him performing better this year than either 2016 or 2020.
(B) Trump has a history of outperforming his polling by a significant amount. If that trend holds, then given current polling he easily wins.
(C) His history of making over the top statements is well documented and likely already priced in.
(D) Most of the post-debate data suggested the Trump vs Harris debate did not change many minds. The moderators blatantly taking sides gave him a convenient excuse for an otherwise subpar performance.
(E) At no point did Harris really make the case as to why anyone should vote for her.
(F) Literally nobody is saying you don't need to vote for Trump for him to win.
It's not that you can't trash Trump here. It's that most of the people doing so are making stupid points that don't hold up to 30 seconds of scrutiny.

Its a package deal. Speaking from my generation's perspective, always voting for old guys is a bit dreary, ngl. Its stagnant. No future. Vance has a future. 4 years of trump, and if everything goes well, 8 years of slick talking Vance that is ready to lead the country into the future. The dems don't have a answer to that. Kamala i'm pretty sure is in her 50's, vance just turned 40 this year. And walz is 60, OLD.
