Damn when he said it was dropping soon I assumed it was "Sseth soon", so like a month. A pleasant surprise.

He used to have other jokes than just the gay stuff. I wish he'd go back to that, man is at risk of falling down the homo pipeline.I was there when he streamed on D live, a thousand years ago. He is a great entertainer both live and with his scripted videos. His editing got cleaner over time, which I appreciate, the later ones seem to have more gay shit, which I appreciate less, but still very entertaining overall. Hopefully we will not hear of him dying from silicone injections in to his balls.
The homo joke 7 begins now.He used to have other jokes than just the gay stuff. I wish he'd go back to that, man is at risk of falling down the homo pipeline.
I'm going to say this much from having played it:EDF continually one-upping itself in the exact way that appeals to me is almost enough to get me to actually buy the game.
The EDF6789 Begins Now is my type of stupid meta story thing.
The entire series started as an internal asset flip, with each new installment changing one thing.Despite some new enemies, the game really does just reuse about 90% of EDF5 for the bulk of its gameplay.
With how dire the previous games hit, I’m sure it is satisfying to undo everything. EDF is schlock and knows it’s schlock and has fun with the stupidity, something that is missing from games as a medium today. On the flip-side, and if this is the sort of thing to get your rocks off, after several dozen missions of repeatedly beating your head against the wall, the ONE loop where you finally go all the way back to the LITERAL first mission of EDF5 where you start changing EVERYTHING from square one feels pretty fucking satisfying after everything you go through to get there.
Yes, I am aware of this. The entire series started as an internal asset flip, with each new installment changing one thing.
I'm not complaining. I've played both EDF5 and 6 to completion. I enjoy exactly this kind of dumb schlock. I'm just pointing out a factor that might make other people hate the game instead. It's hard to tell sometimes when people are just constantly complaining about everything in video games these days. With how dire the previous games hit, I’m sure it is satisfying to undo everything. Who knows, maybe these losses occured in India and the Middle East. Would be a net benefit. It's still funny to me that 30% of the human race being wiped out, like in the initial estimates during the mission where we otherwise formally join the EDF in EDF5, ends up being the best future for the human race.
Ah, so like SMT/Persona, Monster Hunter, half of classic JRPGs... Wait a minute, why do japs just reuse shit, period? The entire series started as an internal asset flip, with each new installment changing one thing.
If you have a bunch of well-developed and iconic assets, why spend massive amounts of time and money reinventing the wheel? Yakuza can put out new games and spinoffs at a blistering pace compared to most studios because they already have most of the assets ready to go, subject to some tweaking of the map and creating a handful of new characters, and the amount of fans who would mind is trivial compared to the number that's psyched to have another story in the universe.Ah, so like SMT/Persona, Monster Hunter, half of classic JRPGs... Blame Youtube's current censorship for that. He probably can't make the jokes he used to anymore because Youtube's obsessed with making everything PG13. A soft PG13, at that.He used to have other jokes than just the gay stuff. I wish he'd go back to that, man is at risk of falling down the homo pipeline.
I’ve seen people complain that sequels are bad and don’t count as new games. Not specifically of the “basically the same as the last game” genre, but anything that’s based on an existing IP. All characters, assets, ideas, everything has to be thrown out after one game. It may be the most absurd gaming take I’ve ever seen.If you have a bunch of well-developed and iconic assets, why spend massive amounts of time and money reinventing the wheel? If he does, Sseth better mention the proclivities of one of the devs.
We need a new updated review...
