Maybe I'm only getting part of the story, but the HfH in my part of Kiwi Land requires people to put in a minimum amount of "sweat equity" before they get the keys to the house. On the surface, it seems like this might screen out the riff raff that would trash such a house as they wouldn't waste time or resources working on it only to destroy it later.
"Sweat equity" doesn't mean working on the house anymore. That would be unfair to an obese Shaniqua who can't climb a ladder. (Also they are assuming there is no man of the household in most of these awardee groups). The "sweat equity" can be a couple hours per week writing thank you notes, kids getting good grades in school, documenting a disaster preparedness plan or attending some mickey mouse "homeownership class."

Nate Silver is trying to get both parties to spend money in Florida

Most polling firms have not updated and weighted the present party affiliation situation. Most polls underweight Trump advantage in Florida by 3-5% right now b
I was in Florida recently.

Three Harris/Walz signs on some bughives in Tampa and a full decked-out with LGBT/left-wing shit house in Lakeland.
Trump signs on a few cars, in Winter Haven, and a billboard in Tampa.

Man, you know shit is starting to get serious when Snoopy is voting for Trump so he doesn't get eaten by Haitians.

How does this xeeter account not get fist-fucked by Charles Schulz's estate?

Utter idiocy, HfH's original idea was great because that requirement selected for people who had it in them to take care of a property but had fallen on hard times. Of course that was bigoted. I doubt the organization keeps tabs on how many donated houses get sold to pay for crack within the first six months.

It probably is overblown, but did anyone expect the entire world to go to war from some Austrian Archduke being assassinated by some Communist Serbian?
It is kind of similar to that, just one tiny different detail in current year. Imagine the US's government at the time was completely controlled by Austrians.

Except the US now isn't controlled by Austrians and their cool helmets, it is controlled by jews and their gay little hats.

If she had worked at McDonald's, she'd at least know how to pick up something and pass it around.
Maybe she "worked" at it a hood store, for extra "Street Cred?" Ever been to a hood McDonald's? I used to do facilities maintenance for chain restaurants. You wouldn't understand the horrors I've seen. I feel like like a veteran, sometimes, complete with the odd misplaced thousand-yard stare as I suddenly remember what I had seen.

Bro. You have no idea.

Don is an opera buff. Let's take a look at this iconic Puccini aria, the lyrics, and where it fits into the plot of Turandot:

The worried people, in the chorus, sing their fear that they will be killed at dawn. The hero concludes:

It's the song of the hero right before he defeats the evil queen and saves the terrified people. Chills.
Isn't that the opera with no ending because the Arthur died before writing the ending? And as such, has multiple variations where the opera stops mid-story or has a tact on happy or unhappy ending depending on production with most productions in the current year being the one where the evil princess guesses the name and the hero murdered and the evil princess smug over winning?

Agreed. It's a shame this requirement was removed and deemed problematic, but it drives home the liberal mindset that it's better to give handouts that do nothing to address social problems than it is to encourage people to be self-sufficient and self-motivated to better themselves.

You wouldn't understand the horrors I've seen. I feel like a Guadalcanal veteran, sometimes.
If there's an existing horror thread for this in the general section, I bet people would like to read about those there if you can post about them without delving into TMI territory. (And if there is no appropriate thread, a Maintenance Horrors thread might be a good one to start during spooky season.)

Its just basic "hoodrats are disgusting and retarded" fare. Nasty kitchens serving food to actual human people, retards breaking equipment in new and fascinating ways. Nothing new or exciting enough to chronical. Just disgusting people who don't care about anything working service jobs. On the plus side, I had enough authority, I could demand the hoodrats clean up wherever I needed to work. Broken microwave? Clean it, around it, UNDER IT, INSIDE IT, and then I'll fix or replace it. I walked out of stores, and my boss supported me, and even fired people a few times. I liked the job, tbh, even if I hated some stores. I got to smoke retarded amounts of weed while driving all over the state fixing shit, and almost every expense was covered. My boss was a wealthy dude with multiple franchises who never once asked me to justify a purchase for a tool I needed, or even turn in a receipt for anything. He gave me a brand new transit van and a credit card and told me to feel free to use it for lunches and road munchies, too. It was probably too much freedom for that time in my life, but I adored it.

But to this day, going on 10 years later, I only eat out a few times a year. Fuck that, I don't take any chances, nowadays.

There is no reason to risk your life to defend a used car dealership.

There's no good reason to walk past a group of niggers, but if you do, and one tries to play the Knockout Game, it is your God-given right to ventilate his torso with 9mm bullets.

However, I do not see the point in driving 20 miles to defend a used car dealership you don't even own

This country was built on neighbors helping neighbors. If you don't understand why someone would help his neighbor, maybe you should move to England where everyone just cowers in a corner all the time and waits for the state to invent a new way to abuse them.
