Megathread SRS and GRS surgeons and associated horrors - the medical community of experimental surgeons, the secret community of home butchers

I wish more people talked about the longterm effects of binding. It absolutely destroys the breast tissue and is the #1 complaint I hear from detransitioned women who still have tthem.its completely irreversible and even "responsible" binding will cause it in a matter of years. Not to mention the horror stories about collapsed lungs and pneumonia. That shits scary.
Another common issue is irritation of the joints and musculature of the back and chest muscles due to poor posture and compression. This can lead to a hunchbacked appearance as well as conditions like costochondritis, which can be a very severe inflammation of the costochondral joint that is difficult to diagnose, much less treat, as many doctors prescribe a simplistic treatment plan of "just rest and take NSAIDs" (which doesn't fix it for everyone). This is a pain that can actually be so debilitating and suffocating it is mistaken for a heart attack, and your risk of developing this condition increases when you are sedentary, slumped over and constantly crushing your ribcage with what is a glorified titty panini press.* That's not even covering how risky it is in regards to pulmonary function to constantly compress a part of the body that needs proper expansion to work correctly. The games that these people play with their bodies are terrifying, even outside of a healthcare perspective.

Really, binding is a tremendously under-investigated health concern in terms of musculoskeletal damage, and the idea that it is promoted to young, developing girls as a reasonable solution makes the Chinese footbinding similarities all the more sickening. And knowing that it has a similar trajectory as the puberty blockers-to-bottom surgery pipeline (in that binding early on will change the natural shape of the breast which will motivate them towards bilateral mastectomies instead of milder treatments or, God forbid, any kind of legitimate self-acceptance), it's difficult to not call for the heads of GRS surgeons on pikes.

*Are binders, essentially, poonini presses?

From observations, it's seeming more and more that pooners get a brief golden age on Testosterone before the hormonal imbalances fuck them up completely. Considering they all want to be hairless twinks, it's bizarre that they get on these drugs whose major functions are to make them hirsute and obese....

Needs less hair on her head for 4+ years... I swear all of them inherited the worst hair genetics possible, every time.

detransitioners are evil grifting liars
So, women who've been through the Cult and are telling other women not to do it are liars?

Are these "just like a 'cis' vagina/penis! Even gynaecologists can't tell the difference!" trooners and pooners really that delusional?
No.

or is it pure 100% copium along with a little sunk-cost fallacy as well?
Yes.

Troons and Pooners lie. By definition, they are liars. Everything about them is a lie.
They lie to everyone, all the time, about basic reality.
If you're ever wondering if someone who is making a statement that promotes Pooning or Trooning is lying or being truthful, wonder no more: they are lying.

An update from our friend tranmeteenflan (last posted about here) - apparently, things are not looking better after just 3 days.

Of course, the hons descend to remind OP that it just needs time to heal and just an eensie-weensie little revision!

Had a heartening experience at work.
I was dictating a chart in our (idiotic) communal office and went “patient has had gender…” - here I’m supposed to use the term gender affirming surgery but I hate it so I paused the dictation and muttered “gah, I don’t want to say it” under my breath.

A new colleague at a desk nearby apparently heard me and piped up:
- Hey, just tell it like it is, “patient has been surgically castrated for no good reason”.

We chuckled a little and went about our work, but it just felt nice to know other people get it.

I know this story is kind of pointless and prolly sounds like Reddit fiction (it really did happen) - but I feel so ashamed of my profession when I read this thread that I had to share this glimmer of power-leveling hope anyway. Forgive me.
I am so happy to know that the medfags secretly agree that the troons are bonkers dumbasses willing to mutilate themselves rather than actually work on their psych problems.
I know, I know, cis vaginas all look different. One thing they don’t look like are deflated cock n balls, though.
The Pizza Hut analogy applies. IDC what other business you put in it, unless you raze that building with the terracotta pyramid roof to the ground everybody knows what it used to be.
Is this selection bias or are stinkditches getting worse?
Selection bias IMO, but it runs both ways. 1st round of selection bias is the troons and poons who decide voluntarily to upload their selfies to troonbucket or reddit et al., and then the second round is from Farmers scraping those fora for pics to repost here. I've passed on posting what I think are just meh rotpockets - they don't look like vaginas, I'm sure they don't work like vaginas, but they don't add much either way to the thread. I'm looking for the white whale, the SRSes that make me suck air through my teeth at first glance.
Why do I do this? Three reasons.
Reason 1: I spent so many years troonpozzed and handmaidening that I need to redeem myself. This is penance.
Reason 2: The troons need to be warned how *bad* SRS outcomes can get. Liberal and progfags and MSM continue to misrepresent SRS as "livesaving healthcare", that the troons "never regret", that minors never get the surgeries, that complications are vanishingly uncommon to nonexistent. None of that is true and I want the troons who lurk this thread :hialog: to see for themselves exactly what could occur if they follow this path.
Reason 3: I'm an alog and a rubbernecker and I like reading this thread and contributing for the same reason I like reading true crime books; truth is always stranger and more over the top than fiction and it sticks with me longer because I know it is real.

Troons like to cope that contributors to TT are *into it* somehow... :story: no they aren't.
Smaller than what? Does he mean they're smaller than his, or does he mean they have breasts that are small?
He must mean "small in general" because if they were smaller than his they wouldn't exist, they'd be like concave antibreasts.

You know I honestly think the epitaphs themselves are mostly quite kind and sincere, but the overall effect of having people doodle and handwrite farewell messages on this cheap-ass unfinished pine coffin is the same as when you got your arm fractured in elementary school and invited everyone to sign your cast. also, permanent markers on unfinished softwood will cause ink bleed along the grain of the wood, not that it matters but they probably look gnarly up close.

$140k jesus christ being a gender surgeon is a license to print money.
ah yes adhesions. Every time you go under the knife your body scars over at the surgical field. Kind of like how if you cut your skin, the scar grows back stronger than the original flesh ever was, adhesions stick to a bunch of things they were never supposed to stick to for the purpose of healing the damage as fast and surely as possible. So tissue sticks to the peritoneum, organs get stuck together when they should be able to slide across each other freely. The more surgeries you have to have, the more adhesions you get. This is one reason why sane people avoid unnecessary surgeries, elective castrations with PPT, but whatever, life saving care, right y'all?

It's supposed to be an eco-coffin. Made with non treated pinewood to break down quickly and not poison the earth. She may have been less embalmed than usual but probably not or it would be fairly ripe in the paddock there...
It looks ecologically friendly but was likely chosen because that's what you get with a free govt paid funeral in Aus.

FUCKING YIKES! The horror rotdog that was four years in the making, folks!
Lol it's like a split-level ranch house, but it's a penis
And hers aren't abnormally large in any way, just large. Also, tubular breasts are normal for women with large breasts like hers, who don't use a bra. She's gone native and this is the expected result, big deal. This is the same crap as "life saving" stomach reductions for people who could just stop eating.
I think morbidly obese people opting for gastric bypass, reductions, etc is a different kettle of fish than troonery; severe obesity can kill you on its own rather quickly; troonery can only kill you if you 41%. Or if you get SRS and die of complications therefrom.

The problem with "lol she has big boobs, she should just have them carved up to be more manageable" is that the mindset toggle involved is completely binary. Either as a society we become comfortable with slicing and dicing to address mental health, fitness, discipline, and other problems that could be readily addressed through non-surgical means. Or we stand firm with the stance of "no, it's insane to cut up a person's stomach. If he needs to lose weight, we point him to options for diet and exercise."
Ai homey
Gastric Bypasses and Reductions are only offered to severely obese people who were unable to lose weight from more conservative treatment like D+E, medications, etc. Being severely obese is not solely a mental delusion, it can kill you on its own, morbidly obese people didn't wake up one day at normal weight, look in the mirror and say "I'm so tired of being normal weight God I wish I was so fat I couldn't roll over in bed" and deliberately ruin their lives in pursuit of a feeder fetish. At least, the overwhelming majority didn't, they're more like addicts in that regard.
I feel for the girl. Getting top surgery is easier than getting breast reductions done because we live in clown world, despite oversized breasts being known to cause substantial health problems and permanent skeletal deformation. There's a difference between liposuction because you're fat and don't want to work out and having God curse you with carrying 15lbs of weight on your chest for the rest of your life.
It actually bugs the fuck out of me now when the Dems spout off "Healthcare is a human right", because I know the Dem version of healthcare includes troon fuckery, and I don't really see why I should have to pay out of pocket for a breast augmentation or facial contouring or whatnot when the troons can get this on public expense the basis of being mentally ill perverts.

Maybe in some kind of med student fantasy land where everything is done exactly as the Cochrane Review says it should be done.

In reality, the pamphlets are given out to anyone whose math adds up to qualify for it under insurance reimbursement schemes. That usually means BMI in the obese range plus comorbidity. How many Americans are fat plus high blood pressure, fat plus sleep apnea, fat plus prediabetic? Any of those people could likely get the surgery paid for by insurance, so any of those people may be given the pitch by a doctor who is motivated to see that happening. Everyone says they tried diet and exercise, check that one off. Medication? Well the only thing slowing down the WLS money train now is the Ozempic family. Until they came on the scene, that was an easy six weeks of something like topiramate "oh well we tried, moving on" too.

The problem with that is, they used that line with severely distressed boomers who wanted to be women to - that's how they legitimized it when it first appeared. They reasoned: hey, we can't snap this person out of this idea, we may as well acommodate the most severe cases because we >think< we can. And some really are happy customers, how ever insane that seems to us. Is there really a difference between "Imma eat until I die" or "I'm gonna kill myself/don't leave the house if you don't give me mones, surgery and call me wanda"?
Both treatments, in some of the medical establishments mind's, are a last resort after psych treatment failed - or it even wasn't ever tried. And both aren't in control of themselves. The real difference is that the gastric bypass does less damage and that they now troon everyone who just shows slight interest in it. But gastric bypasses are now also done more often than before and many fatties aren't treated like H addicts, but the near death cases are exactly that, addicts. The problem is that we don't strap death row fatties down and starve them but we will sweep up other addicts and force them to get sober - not that it works most of the time. Ironically, I think starving the obese might actually work better because the body recovers, the self image improves automatically - many of these overweight people eat because they're depressed and they're depressed because they disfigured themselves into immobilized freaks - the original reason they started over eating is often historical but H addicts are send back to the streets, feel destitute and start using again. Some overweight soccer mom or middle manager might actually be saved by forced intervention. The gastric bypass is just faster and causes less economical down time than real, month long therapy in a closed facility.

If nothing else poons, trust me, you DO NOT want this. I've had this shit on and off over 20 years. There's no cure because at the end of the day it is benign, but you'll be walking around minding your own business and suddenly it feels like someone slipped a knife in your chest / ribs. If, like me, you are one of the unlucky ones, painkillers won't do shit and you just have to exist for days/weeks feeling like there is broken glass under your skin.
I genuinely worry that some day I will have an actual heart attack and just dismiss it as this and end up dropping dead.

While there are a variety of methods here and there that work for some (items like the Backpod, foam rolling, chronic NSAID use, etc), nothing works for every single patient. Further, it's a poorly understood condition and there's little sympathy for it because it's entirely invisible and won't kill you (which explains why munchies never claim to it), and once doctors have ruled out you're not dying of something cardiac or pulmonary they lose interest in you in the ER - and one too many ER visits will have doctors trying to figure out if you're a drugseeker. The irony here is that opiods don't do much for it, either; it's truly a condition where you're forced to watch and wait. You have my sincere condolences. :heart-full:

Anyway, to keep things relevant, enjoy some posts from pooners about costochondritis, and how it is just par for the course when it comes to binding. If you look up costochondritis on r/FTM, you'll notice many of them see their bilateral mastectomies as an escape hatch from binding-induced costochondritis, but as always, trannies think surgeries will save them from their mortal flesh. It won't!

"I don't mean to freak you out, but heart issues ARE a concern with rib pain anytime, which includes binding, due to potential for damage to blood vessels." ... "It's hard to find good health info about this stuff because so much either doesn't consider trans people or is just straight up fearmongering." Are heart issues not a thing to fearmonger about when it comes to an entirely superfluous and pointless fashion choice?

The inventor of the popular costochondritis relief tool known as the Backpod even made an appearance on r/FTM:
Screenshot 2024-10-07 at 10-56-23 Costochondritis caused by chest binding r_ftm.png
Yet only received a couple comments. One of which was just a comment chain asking the OP about the Backpod, but this one stuck out to me:
Screenshot 2024-10-07 at 11-04-13 Costochondritis caused by chest binding r_ftm.png
A surprisingly cold reception, when you consider the commonality of this condition among li'l poons:
Screenshot 2024-10-07 at 11-05-37 costochondritis - Reddit Search!.png
Again, to those who aren't familiar with this condition, the pain can be likened to broken glass, being impaled, being gored, a burning/tearing/ripping sensation, etc., and most who have this condition (which can even spring up for no discernible reason, known as idiopathic costochondritis) report multiple ER visits due to the severity of the pain. And you have these girls out here chalking this up to just a part of the FTM experience! I'm sure there's a feminist essay to be written about female pain tolerance and the willingness to endure suffering to prove legitimacy as a woman, but this thread gets derailed with enough politisperging as it is.

Meh. There's a lot of health conditions that are to a greater or lesser extent caused by people's poor lifestyle choices and maladaptive copes- lung cancer and smoking, liver cancer and drinking, obesity and heart disease, etc. Obese people mostly benefit from the approved treatments, if they choose to seek them out and follow the advice, but troons mostly don't benefit from the therapy of HRT and SRS or the advice of troon-affirming psychotherapy; as this thread amply demonstrates. Troons mostly appear to be as miserable and isolated after they get all this stuff done as they were at the outset, because the goal of treatment is too subjective. It's also much much easier to assess the effectiveness of a diet and exercise program; is the pt losing weight or not?

IMO the proper comparison between obesity and troonery would be if an obese person came into clinic seeking treatment and the doctor told them, "actually you are skinny, you can continue eating whatever you want as often as you wish and the world is being cruel to you by not affirming your identity as a skinny person." Cause I think troon medicine nowadays is basically just endless concessions to this quixotic and impossible quest to become something you never were and can't be.

A pooner got an eight month update!

IMG_8679.jpeg

Let’s have a look then!

IMG_8681.jpeg

I don’t know if this is considered good or bad after 8 months but holy shit! I’d never wear anything but long sleeves with arms like that.

And the elephant trunk shoes rotdog itself, complete with womanly hips:

IMG_8680.jpeg

Just needs some google eyes and big, flapping elephant ears!

Aaaaand another pooner.

Here’s the nog that has been posted about previously… She’s a bit concerned her ball(s) is too small!

IMG_8692.jpeg

Let’s take a look!

IMG_8693.jpeg
IMG_8694.jpeg

I truly have no idea why mom said it looks like vagina lips! It looks like slightly swollen vagina lips.

Another pooner had the rotdog made and all. The problem?

DYSPHORIA IS BACK!!!
IMG_8690.jpeg

So she had dysphoria, got a lifesaving rotdog installation to fix the dysphoria… And now it’s back and she needs more rotdog surgery?!

Almost as if she’s goddamn crazy and surgery does fuck all to fix these chicks!

Fortunately (or unfortunately) for the lovely young woman, there’s is totally haram solution to her problem:

IMG_8691.jpeg

Oh? So just cut it open, split it in half, put in some piping and hope that it’ll work, hmm?

Sounds well thought through and totally not insane!

Venus Angelic (former YouTube star) was able to get a gastric bypass (or similar WLS) despite being a super tiny Swiss girl. It almost killed her. That’s the closest I’ve seen to the old “we don’t give anorexics weight loss surgery just because they think they’re fat” argument coming to life. These girls dying from kidney failure and other nasty things because they’ve been convinced a useless piece of flesh will make their lives better and having that enabled with surgery is equally heinous. It does neither group any good, yet the latter is considered virtuous.

I hate that I looked at that and thought “that is atrocious, yet I’ve seen far worse.” There have been some arm grafts in this thread where it looked like someone was halfway done eating a drumstick.
