Late but here is a comparison of Wuk Lamat voice in English, Japanese, French and German

Both the French and German put more effort than the terrible and pathetic English dub

The french VA's always give 200% passion and the german cast went from stale bread to really solid with sometimes dodgy direction. I just can't stand english dubs of japanese games anymore, you can tell that the VA's are just failed actors who replicate how animes sounded in the 90's and don't really do any kind of character acting.
German Wuk has sometimes off direction, but she has a great raspy cat voice when the character gets excited.

That’s how shippers operate especially the gay and lesbian ones. Those types really exploded during the Stormblood era which doesn’t surprise me because that expansion pack has the most Tumblr infested fandom out of all the msq/expansion pack fandoms second only to Dawntrail.

Stormblood fans as a whole are a set of lolcows on their own mostly because of all the Tumblr and overwhelmingly left wing types attracted to it. When it comes to fandoms of individual msqs/expansion packs they are the most thin skinned and sensitive when it comes to criticism of their favorite story. They’ll accuse you of racism if you dislike the story or the characters (especially if you say you dislike the Ala Mhigo parts,) accuse you of sexism if you hate Lyse or the other female characters it introduced like Fordola, and shut down general criticism by saying “HW/EW/SHB also had these writing flaws and you don’t complain!” They also get extremely petty by bashing the other, more well liked expansions like Shadowbringers and Heavensward. Unsurprisingly they’ve all clung to Dawntrail and now viciously defend that one too.
