And the problem transfers onto the normal kids too, language education is so fucked in an attempt to get apathetic illegals to pass.
My teacher family member said that the 7th-8th graders she teaches have an average reading literacy of what was the standard of 2nd graders.

I know a music teacher who gets freshmen in classes, students that supposedly have played their instruments for 3-4 years, and cannot play 5 notes.

We, as a country, desperately need to bring back basic standards and accountability in education.

CBS News appears to have edited the 60 Minutes interview with Kamala Harris to show the Democratic 2024 hopeful in a more positive light.

Social media erupted in criticism of the vice president's 'word salad' response to a question about the Israeli-Hamas war.

But after the episode aired on 60 Minutes on Monday night, the version that was put onto the show's official YouTube page did not include Harris' nonsensical answer and instead included a truncated and more straight-forward response.

And pro-MAGA accounts and conservative people on X were quick to point out the change.

They did that to me with Mexicans when I was in public school.

Despite importing ESL teachers for them (H1B's), the Mexicans would skip school anyways to go do crime and get pregnant.
Since they already payed for the ESL teachers they started to give them American kids to teach which went nowhere because those teachers didn't speak English.
Dealing with Venezuelans and Haitians must be worse since Venezuelans are Mexico's Mexicans and Haiti is Haiti.
The school gang problem is probably something that's way worse now than when I was in school. The Mexicans would just beat up the nogs and harass the smaller girls. The Venezuelans probably actively hold other kids at knife point for their phones. It was surreal to have a portion of the school blocked off from the rest for the juvenile hall kids since they had them all go to school in those portable trailers.

A lot of these Hispanic school gangs constantly shoot each other as well, which never gets into the news because they're all illegal immigrant children who can't speak English.

That was contrarian. Saying you like this era of gaming is hereticial in most places.

It’s not even all AAA gaming is bad either it is just some of the games from those companies. And that’s more to do with the fact that people are tired of the game rather than the game being bad.

DU is still a Web 1.0 website, despite its bright new(ish) look. It doesn't permit uploading pics, gifs, webms, screengrabs, none of it. I don't even think it permits media embeds. The users pretty much have to know html to do anything colourful.

My parents say their neighborhood has both Trump and Kamala signs at various houses. They told me someone they know had her Kamala sign taken and tires slashed. I didn't press on whether it was a random act of vandalism, if she was targeted for being a Kamala supporter, or if it was hoax attack.

When I was doing TA work as part of my grad program I had to grade a number of zoomer undergraduate papers and the level of work was quite frankly appalling. I was doing better work as a high school freshman than even some of the top kids in the class. I'm not trying to be conceited when I say that because I'm not some fantastic writer by any means, but it really was that bad. This was at a relatively highly ranked STEM university, too.
