Hurricane Milton

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
There are companies that make these little waterproof orbs with chairs in them for that kind of thing and/or tsunamis.

The idea is they float safely around the flooded area and are easy to spot by rescue parties IIRC. They're also expensive and take up a bit of space though.
Survive in a pod, eat rations, potentially lose everything outside the pod.

Outside these pods building vaults as shelter is an option depending on if stuffing stir crazy Florida men into underground shelter is a good idea.

As a side note how many people are fleeing the state temporarily? Few days of warning and dealing with with congested roads is viable, air traffic and train traffic isn't a possibility.

Does anyone know how accurate this site is for tracking the hurricane's exact winds? It's making the hurricane's eye look twice as big as it was after the first eyewall replacement.

Someone linked it earlier, but I don't use it myself. Seems like a legit site though from what I glanced over it.

Max Velocity is livestreaming the hurricane coverage. 11 Tornado warnings now: Can't embed because live

????? Florida is above sea level. It's high point is 345 ft above sea level. There are small parts that are below sea level including the Everglades but the whole state aint below sea level lmao
From someone who lives in the very mountainous PNW, 300ft is basically sea level dude...

You can embed it if you change the link from a /live/ one to /watch?v=
Also remove that tracking data from the URL in the "si" parameter
Thanks! I thought I had gotten it all but my connection is a bit questionable atm.

How did it go from 7 to 8 to 11 back to 7 tornado warnings.
I understand Florida Man so much now, having to deal with hurricanes and tornadoes.
