2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

Absolutely disgusting how Israel uses human shields around its military bases. Hezbollah deserves some credit for minimizing civilian casualties as much as it did.
The nearest military base is 12 kilometers from there

12 kilometers east, that is. So they totally could have hit it instead, but chose to go for the civilians because they're violent chimps

The IDF keeps asking the UN to get out of the way so they don't accidentally hit them. The UN refuses to budge because The UN mandate states that Hezbollah can't be there, not Israel, but they're retarded so they think Israel can't be there. so after while it kind of falls on them if they want to die in a stupid manner.

no idea but THAAD batteries are considered the best of the best, and While Iron dome is good against katuskias, mortars, home made rockets and the like Israel doesn't have the production to repell 150 ballistic missiles all at once in waves. It has to choose it's targets.
Stunner, David's Sling and Arrow 2 and 3 are used for ABM duties

The issue with them is magazine depth

looking around at the surrounding area, and the stuff in the little village, i don't really see how this could be construed as the same thing. the suicide drone plopped down in the middle of an exclusively civilian area, nowhere near the 12 miles away from the nearest military base. looks like the muzzies either attacked a town on purpose to cause terror, which is unsurprising, or they suck shit at aiming anything, also not surprising. it's really your choice of whether they were intentionally killing civilians or if they're just retarded.

They also hit an IDF cafeteria and dozens were wounded at least

Air defense completely missed the drone as it was allegedly sent in under a rocket salvo

I think us putting thaad and troops on the ground is more of sending a msg to iran that if you strike back on israel after israel attack, we might or might not consider that a direct attack against us troops(wink wink).

if you attack israel, you now attack the us too since we have troops there so we might or might not nuke you in return.

really doubt the thaad adds much of anything other than that.

What we are looking at is the last gasps of a dying lefty movement which came to a head in the 1960s and died when the Soviet Union did.
If the left is that close to death, than I'm the King of Earth. Where is my crown, my throne, my vassals come to pay me homage?

Hopefully Israel is based enough to actually pull the trigger and fuck Iran's nuclear + oil stuff. While this would no doubt make Biden and a bunch of State Department apparatchiks extremely ass blasted, it's not like they can do shit about it during an election year.
The only path to electoral victory for the Democrats is via Michigan and its muslim population now that Pennsylvania is firmly red for Trump. Actually rebuking Israel for their actions against Iran; like removing the missile defense, would secure the muslim vote. Mind you I don't expect anything to happen because the Dems are banking on having stuffed the nation with enough illegals to win, but once that fails, expect them to pivot hard on Israel for the sake of the muslim vote.

This is why many countries secretly envy Israel. While Americans were gifted a land with unlimited resources, two oceans and a weak native population, Israel just had will.
Talk about ahistorical idiocy. The French, the Spanish, the British, the Mexicans have all fought wars with greater skill than any arab against the United States or the thirteen colonies that proceeded them. The "weak natives" were ten times the warriors any Palestinian, Jordanian, Egyptian, or Syrian has ever been or will be. Were usually just as well armed as the Americans they fought, and had far better knowledge of the terrain fought over. It took centuries of bloody war since the first permanent English colony was established in north America, till the last native tribe was pacified and every European power was booted from North America. If America was "gifted" to the United States, than it was an act of God comparable to the giving of the promised land to the Israelites.

It may suggest that the Israeli government is concerned about the size of their stockpile of interceptor missiles, and provides a means for the US to exert influence over Israeli decisions.
The US has always had influence over the Israeli government. Since October 7th, the US has given $18 billion in aid. Since October 7th, the US has provided direct military support to Israel in the form of intelligence, and missile defense from Iranian missile attacks. Every single time Iran has launched drones/missiles at Israel it has been American warships and aircraft that have down some of those incoming attacks. Proving Israel can't stand against such attacks by itself without suffering damage. That's not to mention that it has been the US navy which has protected Israel & allied shipping in the red sea from Houthi attack. The US has had plenty of influence over Israel. Biden and his admin has had plenty of Influence. They refuse to do so.

It's called "live fire exercises" and you do it as often as you can, so your military has real world experience.
You know, just in case you get into a proxy war with a nuclear superpower, you have personnel with real missile kills, instead of 20 year olds that only have simulation runs.

The NYT are confirming that the US is sending advanced missile defense systems and their crews to Israel because the IDF are going to attempt some kind of attack on Iran.

There's not really much point in the current US administration calling for peace when they are doing this and parking carrier-groups off the coast as well. The UN better get their sitting ducks out of the entire region.

what are these un cucks even doing in lebanon?
In the 70s, Lebanon was destabilized by Palestinian refugees from Jordan. Due to PLO forces using it as a base of operations to attack Israel, Israel invaded and occupied Lebanon.

In order to restabilize Lebanon and make Israel withdraw, the UN established UNIFIL (UN Interim Force In Lebanon). UNIFIL proceeded to do nothing for the next 30 years (they cutely insisted that they weren’t there to fight insurgents, so they couldn’t do anything about PLO or Hezbollah forces there despite them clearly being the reason for the Israeli occupation and Lebanese instability. This came to a head when it was discovered that Hezbollah had kidnapped and murdered three IDF soldiers in Israel using UNIFIL equipment and then UNIFIL stonewalled the IDF investigation in 2000. In 2006, after Israel reinvaded Lebanon because of Hezbollah, the UN explicitly made Hezbollah’s withdrawal from UNIFIL regions a part of UNIFIL’s mission. As we’ve seen, UNIFIL has done fuck and all regarding Hezbollah on the last 20 years.

A NIS 12 million lawsuit (shocked it's that low) was filed against Motorala and the city of Sderot by the families of thirteen elderly Israelis murdered by Hamas after a "smart shelter" failed to open on 10/7:
The families of the elderly who were murdered on the morning of October 7 in Sderot while they were on their way to a spa day filed a lawsuit today (Monday) against the municipality of Sderot and the Motorola company, in the amount of NIS 12 million.

According to the lawsuit, the retirees, who were traveling in a minibus that stopped to change a tire, heard a color red and tried to escape to the smart shelter.

This is a shelter operated by Motorola, which is supposed to open automatically in case of need and in case of a red color alarm, and is equipped with a heavy door that can be locked from the inside. When the elderly tried to enter it, the smart security failed, its doors remained locked, and all the attempts of the elderly and the policemen who passed by the place to open it were unsuccessful.

Minutes later, Hamas terrorists arrived on the scene in vans, and massacred all 13 elderly people who stood helpless and without any protection next to the locked shelter

In the lawsuit, it is alleged against the Sderot municipality that "the group was actually left helpless and without any shelter." The Nukhba terrorists opened fire and massacred the members of the group mercilessly. This is how 13 people died, an unnecessary death that could have been spared, if the shelters had opened and fulfilled their purpose - to open when needed."

In the massacre, Michal Zarbailov, Lilia Giler, Valery Friedman, Yaakov Mortov, Vladimir Popov and his wife Sophia Popov, Lyudmila Furman, Igor Kortzer, Berta Batsin Shamyaev, Tatyana Steinman, Zina Beilin, Nadezhda Sprebchikov and her sister Natalia Tomayev were murdered.

Two Israelis were arrested for activities on behalf of Iran, including arson and an assassination plot:
*Joint announcement of the Shin Bet spokesman and the police spokesman:*

*The Shin Bet and Lahav 433 unit thwarted another Iranian attempt to carry out an assassination attack - two Israeli citizens, residents of Ramat Gan, were arrested*

It is permitted to be published that as part of a combined countermeasures activity of the General Security Service and the Lahav 433 unit of the Israel Police, an infrastructure of Iranian intelligence agencies was exposed, which works to recruit and activate citizens in Israel. In this context, Vladislav Victorson, about 30 years old, a resident of Ramat Gan, was arrested for questioning.

The investigation by the Shin Bet and the police revealed that starting last August, Vladislav was in contact on social networks with an individual named "Mari Hossi". The contact was in the Hebrew language.

As part of the aforementioned relationship, Vladislav, under the guidance of the Iranian entity and while being aware of his identity as such, carried out various tasks including spraying graffiti, hanging banners, burying money and even burning vehicles in the Yarkon Park area in Tel Aviv. Later, Vladislav was asked to sabotage communication infrastructures and ATMs and set fire to forests. Some of the tasks described were documented and over $5,000 was paid for their performance. According to the findings of the investigation, *Vladislav even agreed to carry out a mission to eliminate a person in Israel and to throw a grenade at a house and subsequently, worked to obtain weapons, including sniper rifles, pistols and grenades.*

In order to carry out his tasks, Vladislav recruited two other citizens, including his partner, Anna Bernstein, about 18 years old, a resident of Ramat Gan, who took part in the execution of some of the tasks. Vladislav was even asked to locate street dwellers in order to recruit them to carry out additional tasks and to photograph demonstrators during protests.

Today indictments were filed against those involved for security offenses.

An appeal by the Iranian intelligence agencies, through social networks, is recognized as a platform for the random recruitment of Israelis to carry out various tasks. Although these missions may initially be seen as innocent, they have the potential to cause a real harm to the security of the state. The appeal was made in different languages, including English and Hebrew, through social platforms (Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook and Twitter) and the citizens responded to it in order to make a financial profit.

It should be noted that a significant portion of the Israeli citizens who received suspicious inquiries, did not respond to them and even alerted the relevant authorities about them.

*Senior Shin Bet official:* As part of the activities of the Shin Bet and the police, in recent months a number of infrastructures of Iranian intelligence agencies were exposed that worked to recruit Israeli citizens, in order to carry out various tasks that culminated in harming individuals in Israel. Many fictitious Iranian profiles were located and monitored on the networks and information was collected about the factors behind their activation. The exposure of the activity led to the arrest and interrogation of Israeli citizens who were tempted to carry out missions. This investigation reveals, once again, the efforts of the Iranian intelligence agencies to recruit and exploit Israeli citizens in order to promote espionage and terrorist activity in Israel.

The security agencies of the State of Israel, including the Shin Bet and the Israel Police, will continue to work in cooperation to detect Iranian activity and will work to bring to justice severely all those involved in such activity.

A hezbollah suicide drone just hit a populated area in binyamina. At least 20 civilians were hurt, 3 in critical condition
Honestly? If I was in charge of target acquisition, I'd hit Tel Aviv in a populated area. Kill a couple hundred just like that. Hurt them some, if they wanna hurt me. Because kikes sure as fuck target civilians.

The UN has basically lost whatever influence they had with Israel, I think.
Militaries tend to mean it when they tell you to move or they will be forced to shoot you. The UN peacekeepers had their orders they were just stupid and borderline suicidal. The UN will never prevail against a nation that has plans and guns.
The US has had plenty of influence over Israel. Biden and his admin has had plenty of Influence.
The US has influence over how many Israelis die in the conflict, and what kinds of weapons are used in the conflict, and how quickly Israel will escalate to an actual genocidal war to resolve their problem. There is no government that could plausibly be formed in Israel that would not be fighting this war right now full tilt. If BDS hits Israel in a big way and the US halts arm shipments and breaks its own obligations while pissing off untold numbers of wealthy, intelligent, and previously fairly patriotic jews, the Israelis will be stuck wth only extraordinary violence as a deterrent rather than their missile defenses. Israel would rather become North Korea before they become South Africa. Their founding historical-myth is them fighting and winning wars with cobbled together equipment and a desperate will to survive against the bloodthirsty savages.

The US can only influence Israel up to a point, and using this leverage would make the war more savage, more risky, and harder to shape an outcome with. Iran won't listen to the US at all, and the Israelis are not going to settle for being surrounded by a bunch of telegenic murderous fucking savages. There is no leverage the US has that could really keep Israel from fighting this war, their political and military classes both see this as a necessary and provoked war of survival.
