think about it this way- we regularly asses the IQ of animals as if they were human, we say things like "this bird is so smart, it's comparable to a 4 year old human" but a 4 year old human can't do math on the same level as the bird, the bird is fetching food and building a home while the toddler will starve in front of an unopened box of snacks, is shitting itself and not even saying 'excuse me'
it's not truly the same, this is one of those instances where IQ proves faulty, because it's just a flat number, and in my opinion that number fails when you attempt to apply it to living beings who are too different from one another

Yeah, I think we're on the same page. It's worth remembering too that blacks, or at least West Africa descended American blacks, tend to have high verbal IQs relative to their own low general intelligence. Many of them can talk quickly and confidently and some of them are even quite good at affecting a sort of Malcolm X-style intellectual air. I suppose this goes some way in allowing them to be socially functional, or adequately dysfunctional, such are the demands of the modern inner city.
