Consider the following: The Time Magazine article where they crowed about rigging the election was mostly about them rigging the media so that nothing Trump said got to the American people unfiltered. I still believe they fucked with the vote count -- printing ballots, harvesting ballots, etc. But a key factor in it was creating a false reality. McConnell throwing elections like a good little cuck to try and stop MAGA from replacing GOPinc also didn't help.

What's different in 2024? They can't do that with X being out of their control, with Meta (Facebook et all) flinching and deciding not to play ball, with citizen media on youtube et all having arguably more influence than CNN et all -- and Google being unwilling or unable to kill it with a third Adpocalypse.

Everything else has been a comedy of errors. Trump has the "mandate of heaven" as they say. But at it's base, they've lost the ability to control the narrative. And when Trump can control the narrative -- when he can go to McDonalds, run the fry station, and instead of showing the most unflattering pictures ever people see a kindly old grandpa having a great time -- he wins.

Yep, I see Trump as someone who has won the mandate of heaven from the current ruling class. That being said the election hasn't happened yet and we still have a few weeks and things can only get crazier.

You can also make out the forward assist just short of the tube itself. By the looks of the forward assists on both the left and right, it appears that both muzzles are pointed safely down range.

Having said that, the most offensively insane thing about that photo is the fact that they have TWO JARS OF FUCKING TANNERITE ON THE TABLE NEXT TO THE GUNS.

Some of them are able to think in a somewhat rational manner about the relative merits of the Trump and Biden administrations, January 6th and Kamala's qualifications as a leader. Some have said things like "I should be excited about a potential first woman president but it doesn't register to me at all... Kamala wasn't chosen by the people but by some shadowy kingmaker." They watched the Baier interview and were able to see that it would be a disaster to put her across the table from world leaders.

In the past they would always get into screaming fits about the insurrection of January 6th but now there are posters rationally assessing the nature of the event, comparing it to the months of BLM riots and reflecting on what difference the Democrats have actually made for their "marginalized" constituencies. There are posters pointing out the hypocrisy of the "defenders of democracy" putting forth a candidate who's never received a single vote. And these posters have positive upvote balances! In the past there have been the occasional members who went against the flow but they were mean-girled into oblivion.

Terfs broke with the left on trans issues because their ox was directly being gored and now they're coming to a vague awareness that uncontrolled illegal immigration means that women can't safely walk the streets. If this represents a trend it's a dire one for the American left.

the nicest most liberal opinion i could give is that she actually is quite good at Indycar but because of how different indycar is to stock car especially in terms of how much abuse the cars can take, most people that cross over suck and thats also why she sucks too. Just based on driving record she was obviously amazing at indycar, you can't finish 5th in a series and be shit, and never finished below 10th. But she obviously sold out because any man from the truck series could easily have placed higher than she did in the sprint series. she wanted the cash and fame more than the respect from being a legit bitch in indycar, most of her top 10s are from there.
