The fact that Telltale made a fucking Wallace and Gromit game is killing me. Does 'Wallace will remember this.' show up if you pick up the wrong kind of cheese at the market?
You pick up a block of fresh Cheddar cheese from the market

"Put that abomination of a cheese down before I pop a cap in your ass, nigga."

Forgot to write anything about Wild Robot. 8.5/10, cried twice. Does this movie reinvents the wheel when it comes ''non animal creature takes care of an animal trope''? No, but it's still one of the best animated movies that I've seen in a long time. The visuals and the audio are absoluetly stunning. The butterflies, whales swimming above the Golden Gate Bridge, lanscapes it's gorgeous. I had one friend who shits on this style so much, because ''OOOOH NOW ALL THE STUDIOS WILL MAKE MOVIES LOOKING LIKE THIS THEREFORE IT'S BAD'' Like bro, this is the coolest shit ever. Do you really want to be stuck in the Disney style for eternity? But overall I don't trust him when it comes to animation considering that he wants 2D movies to be more popular and yet he is shitting on the anime movies in cinema or overall doesn't give a fuck about new 2D movies like Mars Express.
When it comes to story, as I previously stated it's not something that you have never seen before, but the characters are and their relathionships are so good that it made me cry twice. The only thing that I didn't predict was one character not betraying Roz and I'm grateful for this decision. I hate this ''you lied to me/us'' trope. I've seen some comments on Letterboxd sorting from the lowest scores that this movie is ''pro-ai'' or something when it's more of a pro-enviromentalist movie. Yes, Roz is portrayed in a positive way, but all her actions are made, so the animals on the island can live peacefully and yet when she does something bad it's due to her not understanding the animals at the beginning.

Watched an episode of lower decks that was free on yotube (a few are free surprisingly, probably cause LD is the modern media equivalent of a network show)

Was just kinda meh, and I say that as someone who never cared for star trek aside the times other shows poked fun at it. (Futurama dexter's lab, rugrats ect) and yes the fact that it's yet another adult sci-fi animated show that uses the same art style (rick and morty, inside job) was a strike against it.

Really I can't complain since it was a free episode I watched out of morbid curiosity and sheer bordem. It's just another footnote in the long and torrid mess that is 2020s animation. Mediocre and cheesy...so really fitting for the franchise actually.

"Adult animation" is so shit, it's either a clone of family guy or south park or Rick and morty. That's why smiling friends stands out as much as it does because it's not the same generic shit.
Yeah but in time I've tried to stop getting angry or excited for something knowing it'll either be shit or mediocre....maybe once in a blue moon something amazing like smiling friends or wild robot. Getting angry over the state a medium isn't worth it anymore.

They should just recreate his voice with AI and then make older Dale obsessed with conspiracies about AIs secretly replacing humans.
A shame people would throw a fit over that.

I just never liked the idea of killing off or writing out a character because their voice actor is dead or unavailable. Especially in a situation like this, King of the Hill ended over a decade ago, no way Johnny Hardwick would've been able to do a perfect mimic of his Dale voice anyway.

While I knew the comics, my first intro to animated Lucky Luke was the 1978 film, and I continued from there

I also not that long ago watched the 2007 film "Go West!". Oh Averell Dalton, always the retard.

Joe Dalton's French and Canadian voice actors did a great job. I think his French VA for Go West was a well-known comedian. Averell's pretty great sounding in French, too.

I don't speak French - I'm just autistic about Lucky Luke sometimes.
