This "Robert Lord Family Trust" doesn't even exist outside of owning this home, so far as we know. It's probably just a way Nick owns it. And if it is in such a trust that isn't directly controlled by Nick for his own benefit, it's controlled by his parents who, again, unless you think they're genuinely sick fucks, are not going to rip their own grandchildren out of their home out of spite.
He's not going to be custodial parent and as far as parenting time, this faggot cares about as much about that as Ethan Ralph.
If the grandparents are putting together a settlement package to facilitate a divorce, Kayla and the kids will end up with a home. Maybe not that home specifically, but a home nonetheless. It's possible that Kayla and the kids would prefer a fresh start to remaining in their current home and it would be easy to set ownership up as a trust for the kids. There's a lot that could be done to sweeten the deal and make divorce an incredibly attractive option for Kayla.
We have no idea what the physical custody arrangements would be because no-one seems to want the kids full-time, but it's likely that Kayla would want a home in the local area whereas Nick doesn't really have any ties there and probably wants to leave Bumfuck MN sooner rather than later.
