It's interesting to think about. Despite having tons of longevity as an active lolcow, I don't know if DSP will retain much interest in a world where he finally retires. It feels like interest has already waned and that's (presumably) well before Phil ever actually retires. I think there's enough cows where people will ultimately move on to someone else. Even the more obsessive dentractors like Doody who built their channel around Phil seem like they'd just jump ship and start covering someone else. This might be incredibly optimistic, but I feel like once Phil is done, people will basically forget he existed at all within the span of a few weeks and the only time he'll be brought up is as a punchline.

Maybe detractors will. His dick riders are equally as obsessed as some "detractors" are. Seriously, the few in the Phil Burnell defense force sit and argue with that fag snort hogan all day.

Imagine that being the only time he ever mods a game.

DSP modding a game: Not reading instructions (of course); downloading the wrong files and dropping them in the wrong place; clicking on some icon he likes for some reason; game refuses to start; blames chat for half an hour for not telling him what to do; uninstalls.

He modded Fallout 4 into Fallout London only a few months back, and it was even worse than you wrote here. Over the course of 30 minutes, 16-year career Internet gaming professional DSP:

1) Said that he attempted to mod the game before the stream and failed.
2) Said he followed the steps HE WAS TOLD TO FOLLOW (i.e. the mod's instructions) and it didn't work.
3) Ordered his chat to help him start the mod.
4) Had no idea which ideas his chat gave him were good and which weren't, resulting in him trying several solutions that were obviously wrong and/or trollish and completely ignoring a good (though ultimately wrong, see below) suggestion.
5) Decided that repairing his installation of Fallout 4 would make the mod work. (It did not.)
6) Declared "that's PC gaming" and expressed frustration that everyone else can get the mod to work and he can't.
7) Thought removing the mod from his Steam GOG library would cause it to work.
Revealed he does not know what an executable file is.
9) Revealed he does not know how to uninstall and reinstall a game from GOG (a Steam clone, given that information see if you can guess how he might do that).
10) Revealed he was attempting to play the mod without having installed the mod.
11) Revealed he was attempting to play the mod without having even downloaded the mod.
12) Revealed through #10 and #11 that #2 was a shitty Burger King Whopper of a lie.

Holy shit seeing Gorgeous George again is crazy. I remember stumbling upon his crap in the 2000s. Never knew what happened to him.

That’s how I view DSP though too. To me, he’s a reality show that never stops. No writer could script it better and even when it’s slow there’s still drama and something to laugh at.

Right now he’s borderline unwatchable in any format, raw streams, through a restreamer or even in clips. He really thinks he’s untouchable and him “jokingly” asking for another $30k across 3 months just to play a game shows that.

Phil is also unique in that no haters of his care enough to ever truly fuck with him. It is something that everybody who hate watches him collectively has avoided direct trolling. And no anything he’s gotten outside of a few incidents is barely more than what a public figure should expect. I honestly think people dislike him so much that the small joy in fucking with him is trumped by giving him a thing to be an actual victim about. It’s not worth it. Think of it this way… the people he’s been closest with would rather never speak his name than really dig a hole for him. That says a lot.

I also don’t think there will be much Phil related content once he stops streaming. He’s such a piece of shit that you can’t even look back on stuff and chuckle. People will be happy he’s gone.

GOG even went to the trouble to do 90% of the work of making Fallout: London compatible with Fallout 4 purchased from their store and cut the price when Fallout: London released to $10. This learned helplessness act/reality of DSP's is so pernicious that the only way GOG failed DSP is they didn't tip him a copy paste of Fallout: London's store page instructions.

"Phil is a NPC." and if you really think about it, Phil has always been a poser. Apart from gin, food, gacha, and spending money like it's going out of style...who really is Phil? Besides being a pathological liar, alcoholic, liar, pig, shut in, and ebegger?

He gets all of his news from Twitter, if you ask him anything outside of what him and Khat had for dinner, it's "Who cares." Sports? Doesn't care for it. If it doesn't involve food, gacha, or booze....he doesn't care for it.

Also, politics is one thing that you have to tread VERY carefully. People take that shit VERY seriously, to where people who follow politics will do whatever it takes to find dirt on you. There's so much dirt on Phil that's readily available, it won't be hard for someone to find dirt on him and expose him for the gouty pigroach that he truly is. Don't believe me, look at the Nick Fuentes situation - do I think that Phil is gonna break out the hatchet if someone in the political sphere decides to go to the snortfort? I doubt it, but weirder things have happened.

That said, piggy is in for a WORLD of shit if he decides to piss off someone in the political sphere of influence.

Proceeds to stay quiet and i would bet that the hairdresser at first would start conversations just to entertain itself while doing the haircut, but dsp kept giving him npc answers and now the hairdresser just stopped giving a shit, thus why he gets those weird haircuts.

Remember kiwis, you arent meant to know everything but sometimes a little interactiom and socializing even in topics that you dont know or care can take you a long way.

That's why I'm ambivalent towards him as a whole. He's a horrible person but he only hurts the people that directly interact with him, his own isolation prevents anything worse from happening, which is typical of most Lolcows that not only are they responsible for their poor circumstances, but they also resign themselves to a rigid existence. He does nothing when the cameras are off except for boozing, wrestling, and running his mouth after boozing. We choose to watch this trainwreck, and by doing so believe that there is a pay-off of sorts, but this subject is incredibly unremarkable, not very different from a lab rat getting the cheese from his whales, a pointless and meandering striving.

Don’t forget he’s too stupid to realize that social media reinforces his own biases so all he sees are things he’s in alignment with. A lot of people are saying things he says because Twitter only shows you that.

2 of the 3 topics he’s covering are non stories (trolling fake texts and a story about non profits asking for diverse food if you plan on donating). And the 3rd is why Trump won, and his take is going to be “woke” is to blame and Harris was too extreme, spoiler alert. His takes aren’t sophisticated enough to be more than that.
