On September 8th, 2021, Twitter released X Communities. X Communities is a feature on X, formerly known as Twitter which allows a group of people to post in their... "community". It can be used for variety of topics such as cars, anime, and other normie niche topics. However, since this is the KiwiFarms, so of course we're not going to do that. For example, there's #groomertwt, #lolipoptwt, #redcherrytwt (all of which are communities of minors who are seeking to be groomed by creepy men.) The issue at one point got so bad that X censors the result for certain keywords they like to use). Not to mention the shedtwt (a community of minors cutting themselves and adults who prey on them, a lot of people from 764 and com use this to find their victims) and edtwt (An eating disorder community full of extremely psychotic women who harp on anyone's who not skinny)
According to X, this is how they describe the feature.

In response to the _twt sub-culture of the site, Twitter decided to create a feature that allows people to join a Twitter community dedicated to some kind of interest, by joining the community you'll unlock a new page that only shows tweets by members of the community. And there are A LOT of people using this shit, some communities even reach 2-3+ million users in them, but these are the mainstream ones, they're all squeaky clean from the depraved shit.
And yes, even people from similar communities are aware of the rampant CP problem on Twitter. To give context to this image, they are upset that Twitter keeps banning their communities.

Over time as X improved the feature, more people have begun using it, and with any website where you're allowed to be anonymous, there's going to be room for groomers/trannies to invest spaces with minors.

On November 15th, 2024, @Osama Bin Laden posted in General Discussion about how he constantly kept seeing posts from a specific X Community named "drugtwt", which as you can guess, is a community where anyone (minors included) discusses anything related to drug use, how to obtain drugs, showcasing themselves doing drugs.

Somebody even posted their dead friend on there
There are even people making drugs for themselves

drugtwt membership requirements: (L/A)

According to the founder, this is the reason why drugtwt exists.
This is from the guide:
In 2019 or 2020, there was a small, but ever-growing subculture of _twt communities. The first ones from these were the communities surrounding the artists, _twt was like a hashtag without exactly using the hashtag, unlike Tumblr, Twitter doesn't like using hashtags since it makes tweets look ugly, so this was a way to counter it. In late 2019 to early 2020, COVID started and everyone was mandated to stay in their homes. Some people took time and watched YouTube, specifically Minecraft Youtuber, Dream, and with him, he started a dedicated Minecraft "stan culture" that transcended Dream but rather the entire MCSMP sphere, this means that there were now _twt communities for various YouTubers. You can tell this shit took off since we have a McYtTwt thread on the Farms.

After these _twt communities were just a norm on Twitter and they were a way to find people with similar interests to you, however, these "interests" went from simply hobbies to depraved shit like Self-Harm and Grooming.

To nobody's surprise, this leads to CP Telegram bots using these hashtags to sell CSAM to other pedophiles using this method.

As mentioned before, Twitter has tried cracking down on this but since pedophiles are gonna pedo, people will use different ways to get around the filters.
Slittwt (Archive)
Slittwt is a Twitter community that advocates for SH, also known as self-harm. A lot of the self-harm communities justify its existence by claiming that "it's their way of coping" and that if you take it away the people will still suffer. However, as a person who strongly believes that people should be able to do what they please. Most of the time the posters are children, and I do not think children should cut themselves.

Zombietwt is an X community started by a woman named "Cruddy Mary", which is people eating expired food and or food with mold on it. Yes, I'm not kidding. It is a community dedicated to eating mold on food.

This may also include eating random food you find on the street

In conclusion, this type of behavior is not new to the internet and has existed since the beginning. If you come across these types of hashtags, the best course of action is to report it and move on. This thread serves the purpose of monitoring your children’s internet activity so they don’t end up drug-addicted cutters.

According to X, this is how they describe the feature.
X Communities were created to give people a dedicated place to connect, share, and get closer to the discussions they care about most.
Communities are started and managed by people on X — admins and moderators who enforce Community rules and keep conversations informative, relevant, and fun. People who accept invites to join a Community become members.
posts in Communities can be seen by anyone on X, but only others within the Community itself can engage and participate in the discussion.

I wouldn't advise anyone to explore these hashtags (or the following information for that matter) if you have a weak stomach.
For instance:
- shtwt is self harm twitter.
- 988twt is more of the same. 988 refers to the 9-8-8 suicide/crisis hotline phone number.
- styrotwt, - another self harm term used by those who cut (styro meaning, Styrofoam or, what the white dermis layer resembles.)
- beanstwt - beans refers to cutting deep enough to reveal the fat underneath the skin.
- edtwt refers to eating disorder twitter.
- wieiad stands for 'what I eat in a day' which is another eating disorder twttier hashtag.
The following I do not recommend searching for. I'm hesitant to even describe them - let me know if I should remove them.
- mnsfw stands for 'minor not safe for work' - self explanatory.
- bubbletwt (also simply
) is a sub-twt of poppytwt (also
/
twt - yes, emojis) a community known for sexualizing minors and likely worse - basically a big pedo dog whistle.

drugtwt membership requirements: (L/A)

1. What are the drugtwt membership requirements?
a. We accept users who have an age visible in their profile and who post or like drug content. Answering the verification question ("how old are you and what drugs do you do?") is a good way to fast-track your approval.
According to the founder, this is the reason why drugtwt exists.
Drugtwt seeks to cultivate a certain vibe. We need members to be nonjudgmental, so we restrict membership to those who do drugs — another reason is to try not to encourage people who don't do drugs to start, since we are heavily focused on hard drugs. We look for maturity and low drama, hence adult members. In addition, we don't allow minors in so we stay under Twitter's radar as we are focused on adult content. Last, we want members who are active, non-bigoted, and genuine to foster healthy engagement. This is why some private or very small accounts aren't approved.
This is from the guide:
- Adults Only: Minors will be removed for their own safety. This community is marked NSFW for a reason.
- we know minors do drugs
- we aren't judging minors who do drugs
- we don't want adults to be talking to minors assuming them to be adults
- we don't want adults talking to minors and taking advantage of them intentionally

- Her circle overlaps with edtwt and she is mutuals with teenagers who have anorexia and depression, and encourages mentally ill behavior like this thread from a 16 year old mutual on how to sidestep basic hygiene. This mutual gained a lot of followers overnight from the thread, and a few days later got suspended for talking about posting nude pictures when she hits an underweight BMI. Mary followed her on the new account and has extensively defended her decision to befriend teenagers.

Zoey / emoboyfucker69 immediately comes to mind due to how many people in these types of circles she interacts with, She has also posted pictures of cuts on her thighs, and tried to pass it off as a "park photoshoot". Although we thankfully do not have a picture of this, she also said she cut a heart into her thighs because "I'm full of love". Recently tried to claim that Kiwi Farms gave her an eating disorder as well, but she wasn't very specific (she is known to blame Kiwi Farms for everything she can, so take that claim with a grain of salt).
