The problem isn't that they don't answer calls. The problem is that they can but they don't.

Money? They make somewhere around $30k a month and spend a fraction of that.

Volunteers? We have heard of potential operators being contacted about joining and never hearing anything else. If they wanted to, they could have a s many operators as they wanted.

Training? Their training is two hours long and online. Ignoring the fact that that's far too little, it wouldn't be very hard to get a lot of people to take it.

Call capacity? Simple, they buy more server space instead of going on road trips every month.

I don't really feel bad for Greta, like Isabel Rosa Araujo, they felt that a new identity covered up previous actions and freed them of consequences.

The person that ended up paying for that was Nina, when Greta didn't bother to do the proper paperwork.

Being in a country without the proper papers is a risk. Sure, some people risk it and it sometimes works out for them. But the chance of getting picked up by the authorities. Slight powerlevel, but when I've had work-visas, I've gotten the fuck out of the country on TIME, because I'm terrified of being deported and banned. You can always try entering the country again as a worker, student , or visit as a tourist. No human rights abuse against Nina is being committed here, they should see how tough and difficult they can be with illegal immigrants in other countries (European, Asian...). But whatever, that would require them to have some real world experience outside of their bubbles.

There were MANY options for Greta to take if she wanted a safe life for Nina. She chose none.

And it's amazing how the blind followers are just screeching and harassing poor immigration officials. People trying to do their shitty jobs well, in order to make a living, getting pestered by people who have a one sided narrative of facts.

Nina screwed himself and Greta is only making it worse.
He came here on a visa/passport under one name, came here and changed that name and did nothing to become legal even through they had the time and the money.
Crap like that doesn't fly in a post 9/11 world. And it is not what true asylum seekers do.

Plus there are article with Nina in them saying he is safe in India.
India recognizes trans people but as just that Trans.
They won't call Nina a woman just Trans or their word for third gender.

The asylum process is arduous.
Lying during it can get you banned from the country.
