I clearly am missing shit by just going through highlights. I'm afraid to ask, but what is the marbles and legend of zelda bits about?
The Zelda derail was a few weeks ago and this is the marble post:
We didn't have that shit even nearly as accessible when I was a kid and the kids still did weird sexual shit with each other. We're talking when I was about 4-6 years old.

It's not even sexual at the time, it's just "haha let's put marbles up each other's ass!" Then someone figures out you can use fingers or a penis.

I think I was 11 before I saw my first pornographic material, and I was never sexually abused. Anecdotal of course, but zero correlation in my case. I would hazard a guess that kids just do that shit unprompted, and now people are paying more attention to the horror show that is the iPad generation, so they're drawing conclusions.

Who wants to tell them that Mike Judge isn't a liberal?
I thought that was obvious. After all, he gave us the Prophet, a God-Man who will be the one to unite humanity in our great search....for TP.

"We're police officers! We're not trained to handle this kind of violence!"
Simon phoniex: Oh i'm sooooo scared!!

I haven't watched it yet but i might later. One more thing about Ideocracy is that I watched it last night and i love it, but i feel like people missed the entire point of it, especially when their only frame refence to it was Camacho being president like how the RNC had Hulk Hogan despite him not running for office.

The irony is that one of the things the movie mocks is celebrity worship which is implacable to the people using them against trumpers when they had fuckin Cardi b shaking her ass at the DNC and the thousands of celebrity endorsement that led to Kamala's campaign into debt.
I think demolition man would be a better comparison to the political climate in the past few years. Especially censorship about covid and how in places like youtube you could demonetized just for swearing like how in the movie john and simon got fined for swearing lmao.

A bunch of fat homosexuals in the future refuse to breed but instead molest each other online while eating nothing but fast food and smugly claiming how superior they are nonstop compared to everyone else?

Sounds pretty much like modern Reddit, I suppose.

Basically, she apparently agrees with the Russian government on some geopolitical matters.

She gets accused of "spreading Russian propaganda" which is accurate in that propaganda doesn't necessarily mean lies or deception. Something can be propaganda and 100% true. In this case, she was spreading information which supported the views and interests of Russia and hurt the interests of the USA. True information, countering deceptive propaganda created by the USA to trick its own citizens into supporting things under false pretenses.

"Stop poking the bear you idiots" has been the sane foreign policy stance for the last 10 years. The left hates it because (1) they were the ones poking the bear in 2014, (2) pointing out Obama-legacy foreign policy blunders makes them look bad, and (3) Trump also says to stop. Bonus hate points for Tulsi because she used this particular topic to destroy their selected DEI candidate during a 2020 primary debate.

There is no sane version of US global policy that includes fomenting a color revolution and waging a proxy war on Russia's doorstep. They had literally zero reason to do it in 2014, and the only justification now is to save face for NATO, an alliance nobody cared about for 30 years until it made Biden look bad.

A very interesting opinion piece from The Hill: "Will the Democrats finally start listening to the TERFs?" (archive)
As a lifelong Democrat, staunch leftist, and radical feminist, I was not happy to see Donald Trump elected once more. But I was not surprised.

Data showed that “the most frequent criticism among swing voters who broke for Trump” was that “Kamala Harris is focused more on cultural issues like transgender issues rather than helping the middle class.” To me, this came as no shock.

Some of us have been warning the Democrats for years.

In August 2024, I published an open letter to Vice President Harris, practically begging her to say out loud at the Democratic National Convention that a woman is an adult human female. I also wrote two books warning the Democrats of what was in store.

And I’m not the only one who has been raising the alarm. Since at least 1979, when UMass-Amherst professor emerita and lesbian radical feminist Janice Raymond argued that the concept of “transsexualism” (as it was then called) reified harmful sex stereotypes, radical feminists have been speaking out against the misogyny and homophobia inherent to the idea that an individual’s personality might not match her or his sex. We have vehemently opposed efforts to end female-only spaces and services.

For that opposition, gender identity activists slurred us as “TERFs” — “trans-exclusionary radical feminists.” Recently, however, many women have reclaimed that term. Some of us say it stands for “tired of explaining real facts” or “tired of explaining reality to fools.” All it really means is that we’re women of the left, feminists, who understand that sex is real and that it matters.

For years, we TERFs have been telling elected Democrats that the movement to elevate the subjective concept of “gender identity” over the material reality of sex in law and policy is not only wrong on its merits, but also a potentially significant vote-loser at the ballot box.

Now that electoral results have borne out all of our warnings, a few Democrats, including Rep. Seth Moulton (D-Mass.), have come out in support of female-only sports. Further, Moulton told the Boston Herald, “I’m not going to refuse to have this debate, and I’m not going to apologize for bringing up the issue.”

These are welcome words to the countless rank-and-file Democrats who have told me over the last decade that their Democratic elected officials have flat-out ignored their letters, calls and emails in support of sex-based rights.

I applaud Moulton’s stance in favor of female-only sports. It accords with the report issued this year by United Nations Special Rapporteur on violence against women and girls, Reem Alsalem, who decried “the intrusion of males who identify as female in female-only sports categories and spaces.”

It is my hope now that Moulton and other Democrats will also engage with the myriad other harms caused when society attempts to redefine the words “woman,” “girl,” “lesbian,” and “mother,” among others.

I was happy to see Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) introduce legislation excluding men from women’s bathrooms on federal property this week. I would love to see Democrats support her. I am less than optimistic, given that the Democratic Women’s Caucus, which includes every female Democrat in the U.S. House of Representatives, posted on X: “Instead of focusing on lowering costs and real solutions to improve the health and safety of women and families, Republicans are cruelly attacking our new member to distract from their inability to govern. We won’t stand for it.”

“Our new member” was clearly a reference to incoming transgender Rep. Sarah McBride (D-Del.), and the post was an obvious shot at Mace from Democratic women.

Many men are being housed in women’s prisons across the country. There are hundreds of men and boys playing in sports intended for women and girls. And even if there weren’t, how many is too many? Even worse, thousands of children received “gender-affirming care” in the form of hormones or surgeries or both between 2019 and 2023 in the U.S.

The Democrats own this.

President Biden began saying that “transgender discrimination” is the “civil rights issue of our time” in 2012. In 2015, Congressional Democrats introduced the so-called Equality Act, which would redefine “sex” to include the nebulous, sexist, homophobic concept of “gender identity” for all purposes under U.S. civil rights law.

In 2016, President Barack Obama issued a “Dear Colleague” letter to U.S. schools, instructing them to interpret the word sex to include “gender identity” for all Title IX purposes. Democratic support for “trans” has continued apace since then.

Voters last week were not dis- or misinformed about the Democratic Party’s support for “gender identity” over sex. They simply rejected it.

Maud Maron is one such voter. She was a lifelong Democrat who ran for New York City Council in 2021 and for New York’s 10th Congressional District in 2022, both times as a moderate Democrat. New York’s Democratic elite essentially forced her out of the party because she refused to say that any men are women or that women are men.

Last year, Maron changed her party affiliation to Independent. This year, she changed it again to Republican and voted for Trump. I asked her why and she said, “Among other reasons, including the Democratic Party’s assaults on free speech, I am sick to death of its insistence on lying to American voters about what sex is.”

If Democrats are serious about winning back voters who didn’t turn out for Harris-Walz, they should listen to TERFs before the 2026 midterm elections.

Kara Dansky, an attorney, public speaker, writer and consultant, is the author of “The Abolition of Sex: How the ‘Transgender’ Agenda Harms Women and Girls,” and “The Reckoning: How the Democrats and the Left Betrayed Women and Girls.”
The fact that they would even publish something like this surprises me.

I think that's wrong. You're letting misogyny get the best of you.
Hardly misogyny; I'm letting pattern recognition and experience get the best of me.

I've had over a dozen jobs with female bosses, and it has always been other women who gave them the most grief. Men really don't care, so long as the boss is competent at the job. But women will absolutely start getting catty and accusing any female manager of sleeping her way to promotion or worse.

School was even more obvious, female teachers hate each other and really, really despise a female principal or superintendent. That's why the principal is almost always a male, usually a former coach, even in a school where 99% of teachers are female. College was no different.

Even in my own family, I see women tearing down other women whenever they can, especially someone's wife or a mother-in-law. If they're female and not blood, women will find a reason to hate them and assume the worst of their intentions by default. Not every single time, but it's a clear pattern.

Case in point: One day a few years ago I find a large silver lab retriever on my porch, hungry and panting, so I feed it and let it stay inside that night because coyotes are around. Days later, Marla, a girl I went to school with (several grades below me in age) shows up knocking at my door. Apparently Marla lost her dog and it ended up at my house somehow, miles from home. She drove around town and a neighbor said she saw it on my porch.

So, she was grateful, took the dog home and the next day Marla shows up and gives me a cake and ice cream to show her appreciation for taking care of the dog.

That evening my cousin Stephanie, who went to school with Marla, calls me up bitching a fit over her. Apparently after taking the dog, she had put up some post on Facebook (which I'm not on) thanking me for taking care of the dog and wanted everyone to know about it.

My cousin then proceeds to go on this whole huge rant about how Marla was a bitch in school and she just got divorced and she probably dropped that dog off at my house just to have an excuse to flirt with me and post about it to get attention. And she bought that cake because she can cook either!

Women are insane.

That’s how I wanna go out. Spinning a basket ball in one hand and spinning my balls in another. Except I don’t want to be married to a Jew.
I dunno, I don't think I'd want my family (or the EMT or whoever) to find me dead from cranking it. If I've gotta go out that way, I'd rather be with someone
