I kind of want to login and play but I feel like DT sapped all hope out of me.
The EX fight was cool but once you've done it why would I keep doing it for some weapon 99% of the playerbase are just going to cheat to get?
There is no prestige in anything anymore due to cheaters. Most people in major cities are actually horrifying VR chat abominations fucking eachother, on my screen they all look like generic barbie dolls tailored to each person's seemingly identical fetish for non matching slutwear complete with out of place cheap korean MMO wings and modern clothing breaking any and all visual cohesion in whatever zone / activity I'm in.
The other players are completely incompetent at everything. Healers spamming their Cure 1 equivalent, Tanks not using cooldowns, DPS just randomly hitting their damage buttons to no effect. No matter what I do I always run into these subhumans, there is no escaping them. One has to wonder when they became the majority?
I am about one more limsa tranny in modern "casualwear" and burger king crown saying "Meowdy :>> !!" at the start of the dungeon only to then be completely dogshit at everything despite having 47 different mods that are telling him where to stand and doing half the rotation for him because "I just can't be asked memorizing all those CLUNKY buttons... Besides, pressing 1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-... Is just as difficult as pressing 4-4-1-2-7-8-6-9-5-4-9-B-... Because you're just pressing buttons, lmao!!" from turning completely black with despair and flying to the edge of the fucking universe to charge a spirit bomb of pure hatred to destroy all life in the entire world forever... In minecraft.

Man this is why i stick to myself and just play it in a casual manner. I steer clear of the usual suspects hubs and just go on about leveling stuff.

Wait there are mods that basically play the class for you? Doesnt that kinda defeat the purpose of playing in its entirely? Like sure some jobs can be tedious, but nothing that practice and experience wont fix. Havent deep dive into the mod side of this community because i just know that ill stumble into the tranny/second life type mods and it will annoy me.

tl;dr autoduty has saved me over a week and counting in effort on levelling up alt characters

Spoiler: longer explanation

so there are a lot of plugins that automate things for you, all either from Combat Reborn, Punish, or Liza Carvelli's repos.

Liza - Questionable (Does the MSQ for you, Aether Currents included. Also does certain tribal quests and job quests. Does not automatically queue you into duties or do Solo Duties for you.)
Combat Reborn - Rotation Solver Reborn (Presses the "most optimal" button in your rotation, constantly. Is currently broken on Samurai (high levels/in combat) and Black Mage (low levels/out of combat).)
Combat Reborn - Gatherbuddy Reborn (Gathers items for you. Prone to navigation issues and has a tendency to waste GP on unnecessary crap.)
Punish (Veyn) - Boss Mod (Attack radar, and an AI functionality)
Punish (Veyn) - Vnavmesh (Navigation mesh framework. Dependency for Questionable, Autoduty, and Gatherbuddy Reborn.)
Punish (Veyn) - Visland (Basically Gatherbuddy without the interacting with nodes part. And with less retarded navigation because you need to provide that manually.)
Punish (Herc) - Autoduty (Duty Support bot. Can be used in full premade parties or unsynced for certain duties like The Praetorium, or Deltascape V3.0.)
THIS IS NOT RELATED TO PUNISH AND HE DOES NOT WANT ANYONE TO LINK THIS TO HIS IDENTITY THERE (Herc) - Automarket (ACTUAL market bot. The kind that people get mad at on the offical forums.)
Punish - Artisan (Crafting bot. The least bad of everything in here considering that the vanilla macro system fails the craft if you have a lagspike and the inbuilt solver is objectively worse than Raphael so you need to plug that in anyway.)
Punish - Saucy (Triple Triad bot. It does literally the same thing as Triad Buddy except it places the card down for you instead of telling you where's a good idea.)
Punish (Croizat) - Something Needs Doing (It's a fucking LUA script interface.)
Punish - Splatoon (If you've never heard of this, you're still a newfag.)
Punish - Palace Pal (Shows you the potential locations where hoards can spawn in Deep Dungeons. Requires Splatoon.)
Punish (Jukka) - Hoard Farm (Automatically farms Accursed Hoards for that goddamn achievement. Has Navmesh as a dependency and is occasionally prone to having a stroke and making you wander around in the Ruby Sea.)
Punish (Det... kinda? It's only on his personal repo for CN players.) - AutoHook (Automatically hooks up fish given the conditions you set for it. Still substantially worse than manual play for Ocean Fishing due to jank.)

It's possible to get through the entire MSQ in around 5 days of ingame time with Questionable, the Questionable Companion SND script (Does solo duties for you to the best of its ability, and queues you into Autoduty-able duties when they appear in the MSQ), RSR, Boss Mod, and Vnavmesh.

I obtained over four thousand Seemingly Special Timeworn maps' worth of Irregular Tomestones of Goetia across four characters in the event and regret nothing.

there's also people who pay money for mmominion subs and the sheer amount of additional things you need to pay for to get anything done with it, i catfished some guy and he was dumb enough to give me his sub, i don't use it because the only thing that paid bots are better at doing is chocobo racing and conditional statements in gathering rotations

statistically these are two different groups of people, you're mixing up "LOOK AT ME I HAVE AN ULTIMATE WEAPON THAT I TOTALLY DIDN'T PAY FOR" with actual achievement hunters who have a crab-bucket mentality and absolutely hate anyone who wants to take a path of less resistance to make a meaningless number go up
