I think more what they are going for is that Moxley and his guys are annoyed that a goofball comedy act like Cassidy is considered to be on the same level as them by the fans/company so they went after him to show he isn't.

Then why cut some cringe promo during an interview about how that gimmick is only the surface and that underneath the glasses and jacket Orange Cassidy is a sick, fucked up, dangerous man? Kinda undercuts the whole "he doesn't deserve to be here because he is all gimmick and no go," argument when Mox himself is saying that there is a whole lot more beneath the gimmick. Let's be real here, this is 100% about Tiny Kwab trying to make his Literally Me into a Rock/Hoganesque megastar. I swear Tony has a straight up parasocial relationship with the character Orange Cassidy to the point he drags the person James Cipperly around with him to various sporting events while keeping him in character as Orange Cassidy

Jade is an amazing physical specimen who is more than athletic enough to pull off a <10 minute match where she gets her shit in and looks good doing it. A perfect fit for WWE.

If you had to put her into an actual high profile PPV match then you better hope it's one of the joshis or girls that came from the indies standing across the ring from her because they are going to have to carry the whole thing once she burns through her signature spots.

Their feud feels like what would happen if you took the feud between Triple H and Eugene and did everything wrong. Eugene was a goofy comedy character, but he was insanely over as a midcard act. They wanted to have a program with him and Hunter, so they used a facet of his character (him being the keyfabe nephew of GM Eric Bischoff) to justify why a main event wrestler would have any interest in a mid midcard goofball comedy wrestler. He used Eugene as a means to an end only for it to backfire and kickstart the feud. It was a hot, relatively short feud where Hunter naturally came out on top. As over as Eugene was at the time, his selling point was his gimmick, and it was a gimmick that could not work within the main event scene.

Redo the feud with Tony Khan's booking, and Triple H is cutting promos about Eugene secretly being a 400 IQ genius who plays dumb to lure his opponents into a false sense of security. Then he and Evolution spend the better part of a month beating him down while demanding that he stop holding back and show the audience his real technical acumen. All of this would be played completely straight and would end with Eugene sticking his principles and using his goofball antics to beat Triple H clean for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Another comparison, imagine if Roman and the Bloodline during his championship reign started feuding with R-Truth all of a sudden, it makes no goddamn sense whatsoever, and its clear this booking is for Tony's personal fantasies over logical storytelling.

There's a reason this company is going cold, look at the ratings for all of their shows and attendance numbers for it for the past year lmao

Effy pretty much killed off AEW and GCWs working relationship by saying some dumb shit about Tony on a podcast.

He's been whinging about AEW running the Hammerstein a month before them because it is "their" arena (he completely ignored the fact that NXT was also there recently) so he claimed that Shad is funding AEW to keep Tony away from the other parts of their business so he can't fuck them up.

Tony immediately pulled Starks from the GCW shows he was due to work and there's a feeling that he'll stop other talent from working there as well in future.

Jade is very limited in the ring but she's got that aura around her that still makes her worth pushing. She's got the best look for a woman wrestler since Chyna (with maybe an exception of roided out Jordynne Grace). She's strong, athletic and has charisma. In-ring shit is the least important aspect of a wrestler. No one but smarks preferred Dean Malenko to Bill Goldberg.

I'm one of those cloud yelling old fogey's who prefers it went the match unfolds organically so the viewers can't tell that everyone is cooperating to set up spots. Everything looks a bit too crisp, too put together. I shouldn't complain about wrestlers being smart about executing dangerous maneuvers, but I just wish wrestlers knew how to sell the danger that diving from the ring poses to themselves.

It's the current fitness model aesthetic so a bunch of female wrestlers are glomming onto it.

Big ass, tiny waist and either a near flat chest from having such a low body fat percentage or a pair of fake boobs.
