It turned out that he was just confused because a bunch of posts from the Shmorky thread were moved to this one because they were about SA, so it was hard to follow.

It was nice to have a break from the suffocating SJW shit and ludicrously strict moderation for a few years there at least. (I don't think it will ever go back fully though. Except that we're way smaller than SA.

Except that SA members used to buy accounts for friends/family members of internet trainwrecks in the hope of getting them to come spill the beans - and some, like Kevin Haven's brother, did.

Except that SA used to target people who weren't necessarily self-promoting attention whores. The Zombaby thread is a good example of this. It's still one of my favourite internet trainwrecks but it's not like Zombaby's mum was out begging for pitybux, and a whole lot of poop touching was involved in both finding out who fathered the child and the aftermath.

Except that SA - not KF or ED - is where pictures of Uli's sister and information about her life have been posted. It's also the site where pictures from dead baby memorial pages were posted.

I never really understand why any site which spends much of its time mocking internet trainwrecks feels in any way superior to other sites which do the same. It always just seems like a pathetic attempt at "it's OK when we do it".

Stile, Rotten and Ogrish were the more extreme "edgy" sites of the time so tasteless articles about dead/deformed kids probably didn't seem all that bad to any of the writers by comparison. Nor to the readers - those were hugely popular articles/threads.
