Yeah the thing they didn't realize I think is they have been building up a store of resentment and grievance, that has just been waiting for a chance to bubble to the surface.

The Gender Cult hijacked the Gay Rights movement that had basically achieved everything reasonable they wanted and found themselves without a cause to grift off of, and they took all the good will and tolerance that movement had worked for since the 1960's and destroyed it in less than ten years by being disgusting perverts and, crucially, starting to target peoples kids. People know when something is wrong, they were just afraid to speak out.
Now the pendulum is swinging its only going to pick up speed.
The Gender Cult miscalculated, they mistook grudging tolerance under threat of reprisal for whole hearted acceptance and they over played their hand. A lot of people on the Left, while they aren't quite ready to proclaim TTD, are certainly sick of them, and letting them see they can speak without being condemned will only encourage more to speak there minds.
