Like, "I would really highly suggest not coming in," is very Amber coded. I dunno, this whole thing is giving Amber making Becky record 2 fake voice mail messages for that one doctor's office when Amber was trying to convince us of something during Gay Care (forgot the deets).

As for the actual interaction with the shelter, while I have no idea how they're run, I'd guess they'd still want you to come in to check even if you're sure it's not your pet because they likely don't want to keep a deceased animal's remains for longer than needed.
