In many countries with socialized healthcare that doesn't cover dental, you can buy dental coverage to add to your existing social healthcare plan for a pretty reasonable fee.

I personally ayed phone tag with an insurance company once a month for three months to get a hospital bill covered.

There is no reason to pay any medical bills at all unless it is required before services rendered. The hospital doesn't care about your 10% of the bill but are legally required to pretend they do to file a claim for the other 90%.

Medical debt cannot show on your credit report without a bunch of hoops. Even when it does most banks exclude it from credit calculations for home and auto loans.

Medical debt is letterally some faggot people would say deserves to be shot claiming you owe him money years after a service was already been provided that cannot be repossessed.
