Inactive Shmorky / David Kelly / Daisy Kay / Sandypants / Peaches the Puppy & Ex-Fiance Amanda "Mandy" Mullen - Something Awful throwaway, pedophile sexual predator, abusive tranny schizo chaser; batshit crazy ex-fiancée

I've not seen any examples of Shmorky being particularly "versatile" outside of the Sandy Pants style...

Compare Dave's "angry man" drawing from his hospital doodles with the long-nosed witch character from a recent Twitter entry with his simplified character designs for Purple Pussy with his klurfs. They're dramatically different. On top of that, he has animated shorts in other people's art styles. He has also shown a willingness to experiment with different media, like when he drew his klurfs on undyed cardboard and photographed them in various real world settings.

He actually is versatile.

I think that type of style is easy to imitate but not so easy to come up with, especially if it goes against all of your earlier artistic principles.

Seeing as I don't think he's as rigid as you do, I don't see how it goes against his earlier artistic principles. Also, I don't think the Sandypants style would have been difficult to come up with given some of the trends that were going through the art and design world in the late '00s. That was back when Saul Bass was being rediscovered, and people were coming up with more effective techniques for simulating or evoking rough organic media (like pastels, watercolors, and construction paper) using computers.

I don't believe PartyDog made artwork for him. I don't even think the PartyDog stuff looks much like the Sandypants stuff except that both are collage-influenced and they both incorporate computer-based techniques to evoke organic media. I think PartyDog and Dave were influenced by the same trends and used broadly similar techniques in different ways.

Sensing I am on the precipice of autism, I'll leave it at that.

What I find laughable about all this is that Shmorky is a sexual predator, yet still acts the victim. It makes one wonder what lows he will sink to next given his clear lack of remorse for their own actions!

That's why it was a huge mistake when trans people created a huge "trans umbrella" because they were desperate for allies. Now anyone can claim to not be cis and thus an oppressed snowflake. Furries embraced that culture so hugely because it's a "legit" way to scream "fursecution".

You are really good at stating the obvious, We all know shmorky is really awful and bad.
Just cool your jets a little.

I can understand the trans community wanting someone high profile to look upto, but if they turn out to be a pedophilic nutcase.....might be time to look elsewhere.

Too late, I already know I was wrong; I was just being petty. I do think PartyDog got directly influenced by "Sandy" though, given they were friends. There are some pictures that are very similar in terms of anatomical stylization, posing and airbrush use.

Hey @iron pilled gamera sorry about that I misread your post, I already deleted that reply when I realized.

I would like to say though, I think 'twitter culture' has been embraced by people of every stripe, and furries you see on twitter are very likely to be just as terrible as anyone else on there. I wouldn't really regard it as something that's been widely embraced by the furry community as a whole - just the ones that go on twitter.

Hmm, likely true. I have seen people use "furries are only hated because of homophobia!" as an argument recently but that was on Twitter so lol you got me there.

It's sort of funny because I wonder if furries cut all voyeuristic shit would people have that much of a problem with them? I feel like in general 'normal' diaper people don't get as much hate as diaper furs. Nor do people who like extreme fisting or piss really get singled out either. It's like almost every other fetish stays calmly in it's little group but furries can never do that. Or maybe I just have confirmation bias in that the crazy furries whom feel the need to engage in political arguments on twitter in fursuit are the ones I notice.
