It’s both. It’s why I’ve always hated the Steam sales. They’re not “good deals.” They’re games being sold for the price they should be sold at already. I genuinely believe every game should have a minimum of a $10 price decrease every year until it’s $10, and during sales it should have a 15%-50% discount

It hasn't happened in recent memory, but there was a point in time where steam deals were actually decent deals.

In the past, I bought many a AAA game, sometimes with all of the dlc included, for under 10 bucks only a few years after they came out, once upon a time. It does suck that doesn't seem to happen very often anymore.

I am going to rant, even though this is politics and taken a side turn into games. GOG is a good idea.. GOG fucking app crashes in background every launch and has on and off for years. Their forums have editing text file scripts to 'fix it'. GOG is some asshole 3 pajeets as their IT.

I know all about GOG and I love their premise, in some ways it's what I *thought* Steam was, (but no longer seem to be.) But at this point in time, I think my investment in steam is a sunk cost fallacy. I don't even buy that many games anymore these days... And I know how to emulate most of the old ones I'd want to play.

These people are a fucking cancer. I'm currently working at an ambulance service like this. It is vastly easier than other services I've worked at and somehow the people complain like it's the worst job they've ever had. They're in for a rude awakening if management ever wakes up.

Anyone who has had to deal with United or knows somebody who does had a small internal cheer for whoever did it. It crosses all political boundaries to agree that healthcare executives are some of the scum of the Earth and that any targeted killing likely had very understandable causes.
