General Wrestling Discussion

Three separate injuries from the men's WarGames match last Saturday just shown on Smackdown. Bronson's broken foot looked nasty as hell. Jimmy's broken toe was a bit gnarly too. Kind of sad that Bronson is now out for the foreseeable future. Hopefully he's back by Mania, but broken feet are a bitch.

What's amazing is that Punk wasn't injured, unless I'm dumb and missed something.

Between this spot and Edge's spot however many months back, I think we should probably take a break on letting non-cruiserweights do spots off the top of a cage.

Edge's one was dumb as fuck. He essentially bailed out on whatever move he was trying to do halfway down and tried to land on his feet instead.

A very silly thing for a 30-odd year vet to do. I get that AEW makes the older guys feel like they are getting a second bite of the apple where they get to wrestle how they've always wanted to personally but a 50-something year old is more than likely going to get fucked up by doing that.

Sting had the right mindset in AEW. Nearly all of his matches were tagging with Darby because he'll take the stupid bumps whilst you get your safe shit in from the old days to pop the crowd.

theres apparently going to be another SNME in January, I think if they start having them semi-regularly again it could supplement the PLE cards nicely, especially with all the new titles being introduced

They've already confirmed it on their website.

In rather shitty news it appears that the neck injury that Chris Bey suffered about a month ago might be a really serious life-changing thing that he is "taking one day at a time".

I know wrestlers shouldn't really put a dollar value on their wellbeing but the fact that it happened on a TNA taping against a dusted as fuck Hardy Boyz makes it even worse.

Not too familiar with Bey, but it gives me another reason to hope that TNA will finally die and DSP of all pigroaches will outlive it.

Lolcow Doobus Goobus made this... whatever this is.

Now I know what Jim Cornette feels about some wrestling fans.
Oh that guy's a weirdo. I remember he was sperging out about the civil war a while back. Haven't heard anything from him in a while. Anyway, I feel like I could draw better than that, and I suck at drawing.

Trick has a good chance of making it on the main roster after Mania, for the most part Call-Ups are a yearly thing
Triple h is barely booking any of the 2.0 talent any justice, trick is more of a showman and triple h doesn't really like charismatic stars. Especially black ones, dude fired like 90% of the black men outside of New day & melo. It's probably one of the times I miss Vince.

They fucked up last time they had SNME brought back, doing boring as fuck heatless matches with c/d-list talent and ZERO angle development. The first show was so fucking bad that NBC killed the deal after a couple of additional heatless shows that no one watched and got ratings worse that AEW's lowest ratings.
