UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson fatally shot outside Hilton hotel in Midtown in targeted attack: cops - Just Part and Parcel of visiting a Big City

Med students can talk all they want, most of them will flunk out of those "high paying" specialties the moment residency starts. And that is if they even make it as you have to take into account the US system for residency matching and the rates for hitting those high paying specialties, odds are most of them just won't get to the door for the "big money" specialties.

As for surgeons in particular, it is almost an unofficial requirement that you must be at least a little bit 'off' to pursue a career in the art of cutting people up.
Perhaps we should have a way to separate the surgeons who are good from the surgeons who are sociopaths before letting them operate freely on the public?

We could call it a school for medicine

It is quite clear that he is was motivated by an ideal. I think people get hung up on the hero status, thinking it to mean he wants to be internet famous and start a podcast and do some rug pulls after going viral.
This is old school hero, this is a guy with a grudge and the means and will to carry it out.
Even if they caught the guy and it turns out he did it because it was personal because he fucked his mom and did not call back. Or something as petty as that. The fact he dropped the message at all even as a red herring. Still got a message out. It got people putting eyes on that book. It got him, sympathetic voices on his side.
If he was the retards that call themselves political activists these days. he would have uploaded some long winded dramatic bitchifesto on youtube or Tik Tok. This guy took Uncle Ted lessons. He just let 3 words sharpied on bullets do his talking.
It's a pretty profound message for someone who appears to be fairly young.
Even the monopoly money is something people have suggested was a comment about UnitedHealth being a monopoly - I was watching a video about them and apparently because they're vertically integrated it means it is a lot harder for antitrust actions to work against them or for them to be investigated in the first place.

Google reviews for the UHC office in NYC are great.

Real talk, if they can't find him soon, they'll pick a random druggie that looks vaguely like him and have a shootout with him. Tragically dies before being captured. There's no way in hell they allow this guy to become some sort of legendary folk hero, a martyr isn't great but it's better than that.

Isn't depose also what they do when you answer a lawyer's / congress's questions? Deposition and all that? Which he was about to do in a few days over some fuckery his company was behind (using an AI to auto-deny/delay insurance requests with a 90% error rate).

Also, I have to be late with this, but holy shit, if he left a backpack full of Monopoly money, that's hilarious. Shitposting in the middle of an assassination.

United Health have removed the number of likes on their Facebook post - I'm not sure what the high score ended up being but I saw figures as high as 70k.
(and yes, it does appear this is a feature that Facebook has always had)

edit: I'm pretty sure they also wiped almost all content they had up previously that featured actual people. I recall they had a video of some bitch from HR or whatever the fuck in a video - all of that shit is gone now an its just stock photo shit. There are still some older videos that feature employees though.

Or printed it. The material is pretty good these days. You can find the file and instructions on how to make it functional easily enough online. Even using mid stuff you can make rifle suppressors that'll last over 50 rounds.
The parts a terrorist can't print can be easily created via electric milling in a bucket of salt water with a car battery. Any evil terrorist skilled with their hands and a bit of patience can easily manufacture these guns using untraceable parts and materials. Very scary, this is Trump's America!

President Biden should definitely do something against these untraceable guns anyone can produce cheaply at home with information freely available on the internet. We should start a campaign to educate the public so everyone can stay safe and our democracy is protected.

Make sure everyone learns of the evil projects Defense Distributed, DEFCAD, Deterrence Dispensed and FOSSCAD. These dangerous projects allow anyone to just download the blueprints and detailed instructions to make weapons and weapon accessoires.
We must especially warn the public about the dangers of easy to manufacture DIY guns like the fully automatic metal barrel FGC-9 that only needs a 3D printer and some hardware tools, or homemade silencers like the Form1.

It's very scary. All parts and tools can be bought with cash, and the criminals can just melt down the guns after the crime when they're made mostly out of plastic. What can we do against such evil?

Please share and educate everyone you know before more innocent high performing CEOs become the victims of senseless and unprovoked violence. Stay safe out there!

I don't know about you guys, but this sounds nothing like a calm collected string pulling sociopath CEOs in charge. It is less Patrick Bateman More Homer Simpson to me.
Sounds to me like they are shitting bricks. Making people sign pledges about not wanting to shoot them.:story:
In vain attempts at """"""""weeding out""""""" sympathetic employees who will leak shit.
LMFAO i doubt this is even enforceable or legal.

So what happens if he resurfaces and pulls of another killing? That random druggie you strung up makes you look not only evil but fucking dumb at the same time.
Something that would shatter peoples views of you.
This is some crazy loyalty oath shit. It's Livian, Emperor Augustus, Henry VIII authoritarian bullshit. Imagine working somewhere that they demand you, the lowly wage slave, declare your love and high regard for the executives who deny you raises while granting themselves bonuses, ffs.

It's completely unhinged. All they had to do was put out a simple statement, "Due to recent events regarding the killing of our colleague Mr. Brian Thompson, please be reminded, it has always been against company policy to publicly divulge personal data about any employee, including address, phone number, internet or social media accounts or posts, personal photos, emails, email addresses, or any other type of private information, whether it's publicly available or not. Divulging private information can be a crime in some instances, and may lead to dismissal and/or serious legal action. Thank you." And send it with a read receipt so you know they all opened it.

There's not any evidence that someone from the company divulged anything at all. All the data that the Deposer needed was posted publicly on their site. Now they're treating their own employees like traitors.

Maybe there's a reason they're so scared about their employees. Maybe they know that a lot of their employees think they need killing too, and have good reason for feeling that way.
Make sure everyone learns of the evil projects Defense Distributed, DEFCAD, Deterrence Dispensed and FOSSCAD. These dangerous projects allow anyone to just download the blueprints and detailed instructions to make weapons and weapon accessoires.
Oh no! What should I do if I see someone downloading one of these programs at an internet cafe that lets you rent computers by the hour for cash?

He had nothing to lose and skills. Most people have something to lose or no skills.

Dude literally doesn't have to be John Wick, Clay Martin or a glow boi, he just needs to be motivated and smarter than the average Redditor.

This is it, the elements of the plan (even if he did throw in a bunch of misdirection for the lols) don’t require you to be anything special. Anyone who holds down a blue collar job could figure this shit out.

What is less common is the nerve to go through with it. I think that’s why people are saying “professional” because average white guy typically won’t have it. That’s really the “skill” part.
That’s why the vengeance motive makes the most sense, because the alternative is that he’s a straight up psychopath.

I can't wait to find out that he didn't actually get on that bus and is in fact staying in the Hilton or some other Looney Tunes bullshit.

I like to think he showed up to the lookalike competition (and won).

I understand what you're saying, but it assuming the dude even wanted to make a change. He might not even care about politics or healthcare.
The words on the bullets are a manifesto and make it clear as day that he does care about making a change/sending a message. He obviously does care about healthcare.
Something I've noticed is that (big, huge) companies (some private, most public) are so obsessed with continuous never ending exponential financial growth they can't get it through their dense greedy skulls that there's effectively a market cap of
A) People and
B) Shit people are willing to put up with before they get mad enough to do something about it.
All companies are like this. Small/growing ones, too. Big ones are just more brazen about it.
Is it normal practice for massive companies to announce two days before Thanksgiving that there will be shareholder meeting a week later? Was the Midtown Hilton really available for booking on such short notice during the holiday season?
Yes. Shareholder meetings/investor days always happen roughly around the same time a year (and can happen multiple times a year). They are advertized in advance. Agenda is also shared. Often the company will report earnings and plans for the next few quorters. This happens in blackout periods, which is when employees who may own stock are not allowed to sell or trade it. These employees know about the shareholder meetings even before the dates are communicated to the shareholders.

It's a pretty profound message for someone who appears to be fairly young.
Guy looks to be between 30 and 40 years old. He is old enough to have experienced great suffering and unfairness.

On one hand, I would love to know who this guy is. On the other hand, I think it’d be really funny if he never got caught. He basically already did his community service
I just like the folk hero aspect. An everyman kills a CEO, leaves some messages, then disappears into the sunset.

If they do identify and catch him I hope the jury nullifys him so he can walk away a free man.
Total. Tranny. Death.

Pretty weird, considereding the situation. Can't say I disagree though.
How is that weird? What type of surgeries do you think your premiums are paying for?
