I don’t know, I’m not getting ‘color revolution’ vibes from this. The US and Israel benifit, but I don’t think it was directly their doing. Assad just seemed a bit too weak to hold such a geopolitically important area, his country has been littered by autonomous zones that he could never take back for years. Turkey’s always going to act Turkish so of course they’re going to take a slice if they can.

Guess there is a reason why they haven't left a few days ago.
1.Most of the militants are aware that they did 99% of the work in the last Syrian civil war which got them pushed to extinction before, so its enough to be a traumatizing experience they don't want to relive and lose everything again.
2.The SDF might be a bigger priority than to deal with the Russians.
3. They know the Russians are not like the SAA, they actually fight, attacking their bases might give Russians a geopolitical excuse to send their forces through iran and iraq to fuck the euros from getting their gas pipeline from the UAE through syria and Turkey.
4. Russians can be used as a blackmail tool to the west from ordering them around.
5.They can provide intel or military support against the jews in the south and the kurds in the north.

Hope the HTS has no hard feelings from earlier of getting bombed by them. At least the opposition leaders statements conclude he is chill with the 2 Russian military bases remaining there unless people here have, "Actual sources" that say otherwise.

It's been about 13 years since the Syrian Civil War first kicked off, I wouldn't be surprised if it came to an end since all sides would be tired of fighting and any infighting at this moment would be a convoluted clusterfuck. It's very likely we'll see Syria's politics turn into something akin to Lebanon's political system, something not particularly stable but not in a state of civil war either.

Not that I support importing brown people but I think Europe would have been better off if the Christians in the region were the only ones granted Asylum. Those kikeish NGOs that boat in diversity nigger bombs probably purposely avoid helping Christians.

I guess we will have to wait for visual satellite confirmation Tartus or Hmeimim military bases being left or some actual confirmation that a new Syrian leader, government official, etc confirmed they have left or not.

There's a better chance of Russians fleeing when you look at what happened in Kharkiv, Kherson and when Wagner started their march towards Moscow.
