My general rule of thumb when handling things Emily posts elsewhere is to only document it here with two notable exceptions:
Emily posts something that so egregiously violates the ToS I don't even need to look up the ToS to verify it, at which point it gets reported.
Emily goes and attempts to stir up a personal army somewhere else with her usual lies and gaslighting, after which I feel no regret in providing a highlight reel to speedrun the "Wow, this person is both full of shit and has an incurable hateboner" curve.
There's no need to do anything when Emily will happily be the architect of her own misery without any external help.
I am almost positive Emily's mother also has DiGeorge. And the Parkinson's is a more recent diagnosis. DiGeorge does come with an increased chance of early Parkinson's.
I don't think Emily's mom is really a bad person. It sounds like she dealt with a lot of mental issues and some diminished capacity, got knocked up, and tried her best but because of her own limitations, she just wasn't able to take care of Emily and her brothers. I mean, Emily would be a handful for any parent, let alone one with their own issues.
Did her mom have some fuck ups? Sure. But it seems to me like she at least tried to make improvements in her life (and the kids by giving custody to Emily's grandmother) to the best of her abilities. I don't think I've seen any proof of her mother being outwardly malicious and cruel like Emily.
Emily on the other hand, will never ever try to actually make her life any better. Shit, she can't even improve her doodles.
Empathy is the ability to understand and feel what another person feels, or at least knows what that feeling is. No offense, but you're too arrested developmentally to be able to.
Lots of legitamate downs patients are.
People who claim to be empaths are almost always narcissists looking for attention. No, you can't turn it off. It's like saying you can turn off being happy or upset, you obviously can't turn off your seething.
Empathy is a type of psychological emotion necessary for herd-type mammals, which we are as apes. The fact you think you can "turn it off" shows you would be outcasted immediately because it's necessary.
Instead of looking to dr google, go ask a psych, this was ALSO something I studied in college for funsies.
Also full list of shit I studied a lot and can "officially" speak over @SamanthaPrater on
-geology (4 semesters, so a full year out of 4 years)
-psychology and psychiatry (interested after brain damage) (8 semesters, so 2 years)
-literature (3 semesters, or under a year)
-biology (6 semesters, so a year and 4ish months)
-art major (4 years) this includes photography, metal smithing, painting with oils/acrylic/watercolor (I learned with watercolor first in middleschool) sculpting, pottery, still life sketching, figure drawing (which some use pose blocking for, I just never heard of that specific term before) jewelry making with gold and silver, aaaaand ancient pueblo firing teqhniques.
Eta: OH, and editing, but that was a very minor class and mostly for photography.
obviously other kiwis will have much better ideas, as I am the brainlet of the group, but it seems numpty only responds to "official" sounding shit, and all that is.
This is more education than I assume a lot of us have, at least myself (a single year of college that I flunked out in). Where's the cucumber queen right now anyway? Doing some pickling?

Tbf you don't need a degree to be smart. You can be a pharmacist without one
Eta: @DickMain she's currently at the point of her cycle where she tries to "tease" us into missing her and beg for her to come back (we did it a single time at the beginning of the thread when we didn't realize what a terminally online faggot she was) and has never been able to let that go.
Cycle goes like this
Chimp out--> crash --> short manic burst on other platforms to be passive aggressive --> manic tooting for 24-70 hrs straight --> crash again--> declare shes never coming back--> pokes the farms to try and get us to kiss ass--> apologize for everything-->come chimp out anyway--> repeat.
Seems like a long cycle but it usually takes 1 to 3 months to fully do at the longest, and 2 weeks at the shortest for ALL of that.
Likely faffing about as usual doing whatever she feels like doing. Give her a few more hours and maybe she'll work herself into a screeching rage again and spent the night madposting once more.
