are they calling it a HOTline because Luigi is answering?

Also he was probably constantly checking on updated news for what the feds might know.
I mean most public news was convinced we'd never find him, I remember the BBC even saying he was mid to late 30s. I wonder how he felt when he saw the mask pulled down photo.

Isn't the rumor that his dick doesn't work? If he's taking the time to flirt like a typical man his age it's like he hasn't accepted it. It would be some sort of hell to be that attractive and hetero but also gay with a wealthy pedigree yet unable to fuck anyone properly. All he can do is take the saucy twinks out shopping and buy them expensive sneakers like he's bald and 50 before trying to explain why the Viagara won't work. That'll make you pretty mad if that's your thing.

found on twitter, UHC denial.

you know why I'm cheering luigi on... go on... guess...
I can say just about the admission. I work in a hospital, and a lot of people don't need to be admitted, hospitals are also just greedy. If you don't need a Heparin drip, PE can be treated outpatient. In fact, hospital staff is feeling the brunt of professional patients who come to hospitals and get admitted for burping the wrong way. A lot of these people are malingering and hospitals think they're slick. This also jacks up premiums for everyone else.

Then, there's the malingering ass holes that do come in for legitimate reasons, prolong treatment for as long as possible and hospitals and specialists have to drop them because they're not being reimbursed for services because the patients are being dicks and just want room service while their foot festers and falls off.

Well, let me clarify it for you then: do you believe it's evil to give children puberty blockers at a young age? I do; you probably do too. And yet, there is a large block of people who think it's evil to WITHHOLD the puberty blockers, that it's driving children to suicide, that it's evil, and sometimes the courts are backing this up.

So who is right? Naturally, I believe that I'M right, but these people believe no less fervently that THEY are right. Thus, the "evil" of puberty blockers is subjective, depending on which side of the argument you fall on, and "justice" is also subjective, because one person's "justice" is another person's "evil", again, depending on which side of the argument you fall on.

As for "which God?" it's whatever God or gods you believe in. I don't believe any of them were too fond of hubris, or humans usurping the powers and privileges of the gods. From Norse mythology straight through the Bible, there are many stories about the gods or God slapping humans down for flying too close to the sun. Ymmv.
It's not subjective, people can just be wrong.

You know what, I'm pissed that Luigi didn't make to Time Magazine 100 most influential people
the way the BBC are going i'm surprised he didn't make it to 100 women.

we all know what list he'll top next year...

I am offended by this list. These are all literally below average to average looking men. :|

Keep in mind given the timeframe of the posts there and his tweeter account being renamed which insinuated he went "nuts" as a result of his back breaking then there is a missing autism shaped puzzle piece.

Someone he spoke to online said that he told them the surgery went badly and he didn't explain any further about it. So the plebbit posts only really state what he thought a month after he had it - there's no indication of what happened after.

So what's missing is what went wrong after the surgery (which would be like 9 months afterwards when we went off the grid).
This is rich. I’m now see a lot of support for… my near-to-initial take that this was spurred by the care he did receive. But no mention of how it wouldn’t justify shooting who did. Or his experimenting with psychedelics.

At this point Kiwis should just be consistent and say the only reason they aren’t cheering for the Wisconsin School Shooter is that a rich white guy is a socially acceptable target.

He was that smug "main character" dweeb from the US version of The Office. Kinda goofy looking tbh. Luigi's definitely got him beat, but those fluff lists are all politics anyway.
Remember most of these guys irl look like the male equivalents of those shitty gotcha tabloid pictures of women celebrities caught without makeup looking frumpy and dowdy.

Look how this particular dude looked even while angry and being arrested.

Weird thing is as heavily as the idea of people being drawn to his appearance is being pushed, I'm seeing almost NOBODY talk about how the dead CEO looked creepy and weird, like he was wearing someone else's face as a mask. Some of you might have known this take from me by my post in the Unpopular Opinions thread but this feels like it's being reframed as a character assassination against attractive people. The way it's being framed with women going "mm he can murder this pussy any day" (implying he actually did it) instead of people addressing the fact that the first CCTV footage looks nothing like the smiling picture OR this guy, and the fact that they claimed to have recovered the backpack after like 4 days (but somehow Luigi was also caught with the backpack conveniently containing a bunch of "evidence"- you know. The backpack they claimed to have several days before that).

EDIT: For clarification, Luigi is probably the guy from the smiling picture but still looks nothing like the original CCTV footage of the guy with an entirely different complexion and features. Original CCTV guy appears to have a thinner, more triangular face, a lighter complexion, and a different shaped nose bridge.

We really don't care that you use pink sawdust to mop up vomit in a hospital. You should probably stop powerleveling in a thread where most of the readers like Luigi and don't lick polished CEO loafers.

CEO looked creepy and weird
for me its the fact he's pulling the exact same face in every photo.

that's four different photos from different years overlayed on each other. the man looked like he was wearing someone else's skin as a mask.

original CCTV guy also looks like back of taxi guy, who has clearly groomed eyebrows and a more angular, straight nose. unless the state would like to argue that he somehow grew a unibrow in less than 8 days. the out of taxi guy looks like luigi, but probably also looks like 99% of Italian Americans.

last night at Christmas party I got to hear from a particular dude I know who's VERY loudly pro-life, and sometimes goes off about MAID and death panels as much as he does abortions, so I was curious about his take on this
he gave credit to a friend for a joke
"vengeance is God's, but sometimes He may choose to work through a subcontractor..."

He's been charged with first degree murder by Manhattan DA

Luigi Mangione has been indicted in New York for the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson and the grand jury has upgraded charges to first-degree murder in furtherance of terrorism, prosecutors announced Tuesday.

Mangione, 26, is also charged with: two counts of second-degree murder, one of which is charged as killing as an act of terrorism; two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree; four counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree; one count of criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree; and one count of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree.

"This type of premeditated, targeted gun violence cannot and will not be tolerated," Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg said in a statement Tuesday.
In Pennsylvania, where Mangione remains in custody, he faces charges including allegedly possessing an untraceable ghost gun.

He is expected to waive extradition from Pennsylvania during his next court appearance at 9 a.m. Thursday.

Mangione has hired Karen Friedman Agnifilo as his lawyer in New York. She was a 25-year veteran of the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and its second in command for eight years.

Mangione was apprehended at a McDonald's in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on Dec. 9 after nearly one week on the run. He's accused of gunning down Thompson outside a Midtown Manhattan hotel on Dec. 4 as the CEO headed to an investors conference.

"Just a cold-blooded, horrible killing," President-elect Donald Trump said at a news conference Monday.

Thompson's murder ignited online anger at the health insurance industry. Many people online have celebrated the suspect and some have donated to a defense fund for Mangione.

"It's really terrible that some people seem to admire him, like him," Trump said.

"It seems that there's a certain appetite for him. I don’t get it," Trump added.

Sources said writings police seized from Mangione suggest he was fixated on UnitedHealthcare for months and gradually developed a plan to kill the CEO.

Among the writings recovered from Mangione was a passage that allegedly said, "What do you do? You whack the CEO at the annual parasitic bean-counter convention," according to law enforcement officials.

Neither Mangione nor his parents received insurance through UnitedHealthcare, the company said.
