Keep an eye on this comment, I'm going to add drawings in a little bit.
BARGHASTS' CRASH COURSE:
Anatomy- stick figures are your best friend, think of one like an extremely simplified skeleton. Legit, when I'm struggling with a pov, I will just draw stick figures until one looks the closest/right.

Example: between my post and this upload, I drew all this. It's much faster, easier, and you can be more dynamic.
Bodies: oh fun! The most difficult!
Simplifications are: apple, pear and hour glass, the most common types.

(OG thread vets have seen these already)

(Male orc version because why not)
You ahould usually have one of these in mind before you start drawing. A very common mistake artists make is just drawing as they go. That can be fine if you're already pretty adept, but beginners or people that don't heavily focus on bodies should have one in mind first. I definitely do, as I like fantasy monsters the most.
Where You Can Go With It: This is actually done with my right hand (I'm left handed) as an exercise, here are the bodies I'm more natural at, and this is with the wrong hand
Misc:

If you're wondering why the fuck I have so much orc stuff, I tend to draw certain things in batches of all parts, and they were the most recent references.
Eta: quick edit I forgot to add: men and women have different pear shapes, a mans pear shape varient is the dorito build. That is unironically what it's called.
