They did a much better job of masking, didn't fuck up the aspect ratios, actually adjusted the color balance to be a bit less washed out and I kind of like the filter effect even if it doesn't really fit the image. Unfortunately Elsa remains an amputee and the composition is pretty disappointing.
It's decent for a tumblr shitpost, but mine was still better imo. Step it up, tumblr alogs!

I was looking at the Secret Santa thread and was so moved and inspired that I booted up my C drive and downloaded some AI pictures I made of Emily. I hope everyone (except a certain kitten killing art thief) has a merry Christmas!

Words words words about art stuff
Just a followup, for anybody looking how to use boxes, you can think about it like this. I saw this panel in the TF2 comic today and thought it was an excellent way to demo how to use them. It's going to look something like this (this isn't nearly perfect of course; the side plane of the head actually lies just past the eye, not as far out as I placed it on the Scout). The different relationships you create between your boxes is what will sell your poses, and learning to rotate them around and visualize them as 3D objects is one of the first things to learn when drawing a figure.

Cubes are what we generally like to use since it helps us to visualize the different planes on a form very clearly. For things like arms and legs lots of people like to use 'boxed' cylinders, where the ends form, well, a box.

I agree with what you're saying, but your perspective lines look off, especially on scout.

Understandable, I am also kinda shocked by how many people in this thread do draw. It's almost 50/50 of the users actively in Emily's thread rn.
The only reason I even clicked on her thread was bc I saw the 'artcow' tag and was hoping I'd be able to pick up some kind of techniques or insight (perspective being one of those since I actually suck ass at it), not having known anything about her at the time. Little did I know, and much to my disappointment, she sucked. Which in itself isn't a problem, but she also steals and doesn't put in the work to improve.

I am kinda the same in that regard. I saw Emily posting on her profile. I had visited her thread before but didn't recognize her because she changed her pfp from the AI cat girl she had when I first browsed her thread. I really didn't even care that she stole art because she sucked so much at it. It was the kitten thing that got me.

I took it as an offense to the craft, although yes she turned out to be much more horrible than being a simple charlatan.

Keep an eye on this comment, I'm going to add drawings in a little bit.

BARGHASTS' CRASH COURSE:
Anatomy- stick figures are your best friend, think of one like an extremely simplified skeleton. Legit, when I'm struggling with a pov, I will just draw stick figures until one looks the closest/right.

Example: between my post and this upload, I drew all this. It's much faster, easier, and you can be more dynamic.
Bodies: oh fun! The most difficult!
Simplifications are: apple, pear and hour glass, the most common types. eafff9bd-06b6-48bc-a6ef-d2b2cbeb4d8b.png5623caf3-1ad4-4e26-b2de-040d3441d0db.png5e343f24-cb6a-4c0c-8af8-6159580e3a64.png

(Male orc version because why not)
You ahould usually have one of these in mind before you start drawing. A very common mistake artists make is just drawing as they go. That can be fine if you're already pretty adept, but beginners or people that don't heavily focus on bodies should have one in mind first. I definitely do, as I like fantasy monsters the most.
Where You Can Go With It: This is actually done with my right hand (I'm left handed) as an exercise, here are the bodies I'm more natural at, and this is with the wrong hand

These are just regular monster designs I was practicing.

If you're wondering why the fuck I have so much orc stuff, I tend to draw certain things in batches of all parts, and they were the most recent references.

Eta: quick edit I forgot to add: men and women have different pear shapes, a mans pear shape varient is the dorito build. That is unironically what it's called.

As helpful as this is, I'd like to point out that she's too retarded to visualize shit like this until after she sees or otherwise experiences it. We asked her to visualize how to take apart an alarm clock as part of an engineering question and connect it to an tape measure to see how long she'll sleep.

Guess how far she got?

And she also doesn't understand how pulleys work, in addition to believing that being 6 inches (or more) taller than someone gives them an exponential increase in physical strength

Oh this is definitely for us here and not for her. Any advice is wasted on her, something I learned pretty early on when I had tried.

Apologies for being gone and missing some particularly good milk (Christmas Party and My Ol Puppy throwing up and whatnot. But Emily won't know sentimental shit like that.)

But I have gotten a nice Christmas Present back of my Design of Perfect Cell as s Human.

An 18 year old drew this. Man Emily how does it feel to know that a 13 and 18 year old has better art skills then you?

I gotta say, she gave me confidence in my own art. I can sometimes be a bit disappointed by my drawings but I feel accomplished that at least I know how to draw.

Anime is often my favorite thing to draw because of how cute they are.

She's mentally 11 years old. Of course they are better. The lady can't add single digit numbers.

Anyways, here's proof Emily stole MY centaur first!

I legally can't fake programs so this proves I was first!
