Well there was that random six month timeskip that happened offscreen which could be definitely attributed to the limited amount of episodes that felt made with the idea a season 2 could not happen.
Even then, still could've been handled better

I'm willing to accept it because his flashback has him say he had no friends while he was alive, and it's clear the same is true before he joins the hotel, he also says something like "I'm alone again." right before his and Emily's song starts, so he's someone who after at least a century and a half finally found a friend group. It doesn't help Season 1 really should have been two Seasons (or at least something like 12 episodes) but the core idea of him being overly attached to the hotel group makes complete sense from a character standpoint.

That idea isn't new. I think the "Lucifer" show, starring Tom Ellis, has an idea like so. He loves humanity and despised the "snobbishness" of Heaven, and is merely misunderstood because he wanted to bring "higher knowledge" to humans. Or whatever.
Only Vivanne made it super gay as a concept. I would rather have Tom Ellis and Mark Pellegrino's Lucifer to ease off. The latter would blow Satan's brains faster than you could say "fuck".
Off topic, I hate this pose. The soyjaks were funny, but the moment every retard under the sun began to do it, it became unfunny.

This video brings up something I've been mulling over and that's the fact that hellborn and sinners are not visually distinct from each other. Sure we kow that all imps and succubi are hellborn but what about hellhounds? There are plenty of sinner furries (heck furry Hitler was posted here not too long ago), so how is a viewer supposed to know the difference at a glance?

This is zoomerish but it's true not so long video. One thing that made me think was when he said "When the creator starts writing around the fandom, they feel a personal connection to it and criticizing it is a personal attack on them" and it hits me how some fandoms are particularly more defensive than others (again like rwby). He's talking about the fandom but it also applies to vivzie.
The way Vivzie goes out there to bash "the haters" and retweet defenders makes things impossible to disconnect for her and them. Criticizing the show is criticizing vivzie which is criticizing the fandom which is criticizing the show and vice versa (again like rwby). Vivzie isn't "writing" anymore, she's pandering.

The season finale episode will be tomorrow. Guess we're getting another hit...on top of the goetia drama and Octavia cutting off Stolas, if the storyboard leaks are still true. And also Sally May is supposed to be in this episode according to Morgana, so I don't know how Millie's sister is going to fit in all this. I'm sure whatever we get will be a disaster and I am all here to watch it go down.

To think a few months ago we were discussing this and tomorrow's gonna finally be the day. The day where Octavia will be shunned by the community and Stolas will continue getting orbited as if he's God himself or something. I didn't even bother to make a review on how I felt about the last episode. My brain's just that neutral from how annoyed and disappointed it got. But I definitely will have a lot of choice words for this one for sure.
Can't wait for Stolitz fans to villianize his daughter because how dare she feel neglected because her father prioritizes (and nearly got himself decapitated on live tv) a literal imp over his own blood. We all know he didn't even bring up Octavia during his song? How he didn't bring her up until after he got his powers revoked? Man could care less about her. It's gonna be real satisfying tomorrow when that woman straight up goes off on him. Probably not in the way I expect, though. Vivzie don't want poor Stolas to be hurt with mean words too much, don't you see?
Honestly, part of me can’t wait to see tumblr’s reaction to the episode, because I feel like when Stolas breaks down this is going to be their collective reaction:

Two things I want to get off my chest about this episode.
- You think "Sinsmas" is a title that is better suited for HH given that show is about redeeming Sinners.
- Based on the title and the preview GIF why is Hell supposedly celebrating Christmas, or at least the secular version of it? You got lights, ornaments, and garlands in the background so they better say if this is meant to mock the Christmas holiday.

The odds of this are basically zero given how Mastermind ended but there's a small part of me that thinks this will end up like the ghost episode where it was rewritten since the leaks and now the season ends with Octavia continuing to put up with her father's shit, or they make Stella even more of a one note villain by having it so Octavia does want to see Stolas but is prevented from it. I know there's a line from Via calling Stolas out in some trailer they released for the second half of the season, but that doesn't mean it won't just be resolved in a single episode.
Oof if they did end up remaking the episode, that will be funny and incredibly depressing, because then they would be shooting themselves in the foot in terms of the drama they need to keep this going. Like, say what you want about the ghost episode, it was incredibly pointless in the grand scheme of things, and the rewrite hurt it because it further illustraites that Blitzo’s own sister is pointless and no one cares. This? Octavia leaving is a hook for next season. Stolas has a notable goal. Taking it out? What’s the arc going to be regarding the Ars? Stolas fucking around while he waits for a century? Making sure Andre and Stella can’t kill him? The Dhorks and Cherubs not being used? Maybe more Sally May because she’s important for some reason now?
I don’t know what’s worse, Octavia being shit on, or her having to put her father first AGAIN.
