This latest episode just epitomizes everything wrong with the show, if anything it just solidifies all of it. Season 2 as a whole is just absolute shit.

I think the biggest thing was refusing the hit because gay, of course they do. This moment really kinda symbolizes the original soul and premise of the show is gone, dead. Fags and shipping killed it. That moment really just made me mad, like they’re demons; they shouldn’t give a fuck; yet Blitz doesn’t do it because he’s infected with the fag virus. God you cannot make this shit up.

For positives, Stella is still alive, Octavia finally told off her fag father and I actually did like Octavia’s song; if anything the episode really made me feel bad for her and her situation, which I guess your supposed to feel bad for Stolas but if anything; I don’t feel a thing for him especially with all the choices he made that led him here. Fuck him, he deserves everything coming for him.

I don’t really know what I was expecting, but damn this absolutely solidifies the original soul and premise are just gone, I really hate shipping culture so much.

The shitshow is here, lads.
Well then I guess that's that for Season 2. If you thought that this season was atrocious, then guess what, Season 3 will be even worse.

Actually why don't we make predictions for Season 3. I know that Octavia will eventually be gaslit into appreciating Stolas, even if she had some competence in this episode.

As much as Stella might be a cunt, Stolas didn't spare a thought to Octavia until the very last second, and it only ended up making him look like he was trying to weasel out of his sentencing.

Besides, it's acceptable to keep terrible gene donors away from their supposed children. So Stella doing that doesn't bother me much, especially when Stolas made it clear he considers his la-la fantasy with Blitzo to be more important than his duty to his daughter. Like, remember the promise he made her during the Loo Loo episode? Disregard that, can't risk losing his imp sex toy.

And then there's the opening scene with the faggot duo and the children they abducted (idgaf what people say, if you take the children with you while running the AIDS roulette, you've abducted them). At least it's implied these faggots still got wasted.

The best parts about the episode were Stolas suffering and crying, Andre getting his ass kicked (like even outside of the agenda, the fight scene was actually well animated), Octavia calling Stolas out especially with his happy pills, and I guess I liked the songs here (Octavia's and the end credits song).

Stella really is a cartoon villain at this point and given how openly "evil" she is, it's really hard to take her seriously in a drama way, but I definitely see her posting on Hell's Kiwifarms to laugh at Stolas.

To preach to the choir, yeah refusing to kill that gay couple was the worst part. Like my bet is either it's a one time thing or it will escalate to the show ending with them starting a new business.

Other than that, I want to see how Viv will continue to make this more idiotic. Also Millie is pregnant I guess.

Anyway this video was uploaded today too

Pretty much what other people have posted are my thoughts on this episode, so I won't repeat. I will say though, that last episode Mastermind felt more like a season finale than this. Is this going to be a pattern with Helluva Boss? The first season did the same thing with the Ozzie episode feeling like the season finale, while the actual season finale was just an overblown music video.

Also, another thing I took note is that while the storyboard leaks remained mostly the same, the final product made them quicker, especially with the scene between Stolas and Octavia. There were pauses in between the lines of dialoge in the animatic. But with the actual show, it sounded like they were trying to speed through that scene. Guess cause they wanted to have time to have the real slow talk at the end.

When we got the reveal that Millie's knocked up it would have made a lot more sense to have her call the mom. You know, the one that actually birthed all of them. Sally May is a literal who, in his first appearance he had like 4 lines and that's it.

These people really want to see the old family structure destroyed, good lord.

It's been said, but I want to complain about it anyway. That dude abandoning his wife and taking her children away from her but getting a happy gay ending pissed me off. This is a fujo dream (and sooner I guess) but the reality is horrible if you think about it...

Least said about Stolas the better. I wish he would just go away.

Stella went from being a spiteful wife that wanted her cheating husband dead to a cartoony villain with exaggerated expressions and the IQ of a rock. Brilliant writing right there, fellows.

:lossmanjack:

Edit to not doublepost: Welp, it's over. Blitzo killed a total of zero people this season. And Octavia really did tell off Stolas, I expected them to remove that part but they didn't. Well deserved.
I feel nothing but sympathy for Stella and I will draw her and Octavia getting a happy ending with the deadbeat owl gets hate crime'd.

The fact this retard can't even spell octavia's name right really sells how much he doesn't give a fuck about her and simply wants to defend Stolas lol.

Replying myself here but i cant edit: WOW i did a quick rewatch this guy is even more retarded than i thought.

>Olivia discovers her father has been miserable for years and her reaction is to blame him?!

No, her reaction was to blame HERSELF! Via literally says

Via is so innocent that in her mind this can only possibly be HER fault. She doesn't even blame blitzo or stolas!

Stolas saying "You were only good thing to me" hurts her so much because it implies he would've left sooner it he could which IS THE TRUTH! Stolas was already picking blitzo over her.

If anything i'd argue Via still loves Stolas and just wants him to be happy with the person he actually loves so she can stop being a burden to him (which i expect to be the path they take next season to damage control the inevitable via bashing).

BUT SOMEHOW this hard R retard twisted this into "Via is blaming Stolas and shaming his depression!" :stress:

I hate pulling media literacy blablabla but wtf i hope this was a little kid and not a grown adult, this fandom is genuinely braindead and deserves the worst it can get.

This episode was the epitome of all the writing flaws of this season. I thought Viv would change the controversial scenes as she did with the hotel episode, but apparently not, it went exactly as the leaks did.

Even villains in Saturday morning cartoons have more nuance than Stella at this point. She tried to appear sympathetic to Octavia in the last episode, which was a great surprise. But no, can't let her be cunning and interesting, she's back to being as completely stereotypical and dumb as a brick as a villain of the day.

Blitzo having qualms over killing precious gay husband who cheated... he had no problem killing a child, an old man, thousands of innocent party go-ers... but an adult man is somehow too much. We had the exact same family scene in the first episode and Blitzo didn't care about murdering them. That's so fucked up. And the fantasy scene, fuuuuck oooooff with the fanservice.

Apparently, Stolas has been trying to reach out to Octavia for a month without avail...? That's such a plot hole. We're shown she still has agency over her phone, and she can go wherever she wants. She is hooked to her earphones and an active social account... Stella can't always be in the way. Stolas didn't even try to send her a text, or a message on whatever Instagram's hellish variant is ? Does he even try ?

Is that another picture of Stolas, Stella and Octavia posing together looking happy, in Octavia's song ? Stella is even smiling. Was this storyboarded before they changed course on Stolas and Stella's relationship ?

I thought the journal would be Stolas writing about his feelings of loss towards his daughter... of course not, it's fucking yaoi. You know, the client could have actually been a great insight and wake-up call for Stolas. She could have offered a perspective on why Stella might have felt wronged by him, and that being gay doesn't excuse your actions, you're just as guilty as a heterosexual cheating husband. But no, Karen humor is the only social commentary humor these writers can muster apparently, how edgy.

Oh look, Millie is pregnant. Very uninspired and desesperate plot twist for a show set in Hell to be reaching for Desperate Housewives drama. Also, she's in her late 20s and happily married, Viv... why are you trying to frame it like she's having a teenage pregnancy. People in a stable relationship, especially if married, usually have the talk about children and know how to proceed unplanned or not.

She doesn't tell Moxxie, her partner who she is shown to be in a healthy and trusting relationship with. Who does she call ? Her mother, maybe ? Nope, her tranny sibling. Of course she does. EW, talk about tactless pandering. If I was pregnant and in distraught, the last person I would call on Earth for help would be a tranny who has no clue about pregnancy, that's usually where the "sorority" pretending ends for most women. Really sad to give her a pregnancy plot when she has no real female friend to rely on. (Yes, Loona is 22 but she doesn't count considering they keep writing her like an immature teen).

Octavia's song was kind of a let down I was impressed by it's uniqueness at the start, but at the end when it started to drift towards a lyrical reprise of "you will be okay" it went downhill. If the song you're reprising is iconic, you need to go hard on mimicing it as much as possible while adding your own thing. It felt disjointed.

The fight scene at the end was really good. Reminds me alot of "The Future" Wonder if Mystery Skulls 5 is ever going to come out.

Edit: The staircase dancing scene was adorable. If it weren't in this show, I would have liked it. The problem is that it is in this show, and you can't really do slice of life romantic drama. Also the super happy relationship thing at the start makes no sense. Blitzo supposedly has an immense sense of self loathing, a person who probably shouldn't be with a partner who just lost his daughter and is coming off of antidepressants.

Glad Octavia finally told Stolas off.
Was curious how Stolitz fags were reacting, the subreddit is mostly talking about either Millie being pregnant, but it the Octavia shitting is slowly taking root.

17-years old teenage girl in the middle of a divorce acts emotional and doesn't coddle the father who abandoned her : "What a bitch"

Grown ass man abandons his family and duties for a fucktoy : "Wholesome baby who can't do no wrong !"

Why do these morons coddle characters who are grown-ass adults like they’re fucking children?

It’s so stupid.

Well, at least I got my answer to what Sinsmas is and, like the pilot, I guess some shorts are not canon as the characters complain about going somewhere cold when there was the short of them in Antarctica. How is I.M.P. still a business when it was raided/destroyed in the last episode? Oh right don't ask questions, just consume the homo shit.

It's almost if having them be a family of killers was an excuse to off them (as Moxxie had issues killing a family) while ignoring the obvious reason is one has two dads and one has a mom and a dad.
