The funny thing is that the gay Christmas scene kinda fails as a parallel given we don't know anything about those gay dads and the dead wife.
Especially with how Stolas is a massive scumbag who just had one affair when he treats his daughter like shit, treats Blitzo like shit until Mastermind, and is a manchild who wants to live like a soap opera character. Not to mention Stolas was in an arranged marriage which was established this season and that town IMP traveled to is clearly an American suburb which last I checked aren't known for arranged marriages.
I know I'm looking deep into it but it's just a failure of an allegory and trivializes Stolas even more as a character.
